Callisto v0.50 - Week 12 Update

Took the time to plan out the work remaining to complete the v0.50 update. After listing all of the items, it became apparent I had to cut the pole dancing routines from v0.50. However despite trimming the dance animations, I will implement the remainder of the strip club content. This includes the navigation system to move around the club, the management interface and acquisition of dancers and allocation to the stages. Whilst you will not have the animated routines, I will still include some stills of the various dancers on the range of stages. There will also be a celebrity guest appearance that should add some spice.

Looking back over the past few months there have been a couple of hiccups that has reduced progress on the current version. This included some time spent on the marketing and some rework related to Daz3D glitches. The main time sink however was on the leaning curve in doing high quality animations. Whilst the two pole dancing routines I created provided a good learning exercise, they really aren't at the quality required for the game. This predominately resulted from trying to do animations that were too challenging for the software used (poor inverse kinematics) and my current skill level. I have now picked out more suitable reference material, however animating these will have to wait until the next version.

Given my professional background, I thought it prudent to give a better quality report on the game progress. This report will be updated every week based upon a more detailed task list I have created for myself. I have not included float / fat in the estimated dates, hence they will fluctuate around slightly each week. The closer we get to completion, the more firm these dates will become. Note that top portion is work required to reach beta and the lower is the work undertaken between beta and official.

Also as posted in previous weeks an update of the progress of the animation frames. Note that progress was impacted by having to scrap 250 blowjob animation frames due to clipping (since re-posed) and increased time per frame for the doggy style animations. Not too worried about these rendering out in time for this release. There may be a couple of camera angles missing for the beta, however they will render out prior to main release.

In the above, I am trying to be as open and honest as I can be about the current status of the game. Hopefully this allows my Patreons to make suitable decisions about their contributions.
