Poolside Tie Top Variants
Added 2023-10-03 22:08:56 +0000 UTCWhen I saw this bikini/shirt combination in the Poolside Splash kit, I thought two things:
1) I have a sim who would definitely wear this
2) It would be so much better as its own standalone top
So I decided to split the item from the bikini bottoms, allowing it to be paired with any clothing bottom (or none at all). I actually thought it would be a little easier than it was lol. Because it was originally a full body outfit, I had to move several parts of the UV around to fit with as little overlap of the lower half of the body as possible.
For this reason I had to sacrifice the bikini top that comes with the shirt (if I hadn't, the shirt/bikini would have overlapped most clothing bottoms, including genitals). I opted to use one of the base game bikinis in its place, and tried to create colors and patterns that were a close match to the original swatches. Even with the base game bikini top, I've found that the shirt's texture can overlap a little on pants originally built for male frames, but otherwise it works well with feminine clothing.
I've also included a variant that skips the bikini entirely and allows your sim to show off more. I used SimpleBreasts for this to give the cleavage a smoother appearance.
The tie top with bikini is available as a Button-Up and Swimwear. The tie top with cleavage is available as a Button-Up. Both outfits come with 10 swatches.
