09/18: Fixed bugs where level was not reflected on the status screen, Mind Eater's parasitic action couldn't be performed when language was set to English, and death processing wouldn't occur when certain skill effects were activated.

※09/19: Fixed the issue where window size change settings were not being applied.




For Windows. I haven't properly researched recommended specs and such, but it seems to run even on PCs with relatively low specs.


! IMPORTANT NOTICE !

The current version is almost at the level of an operational test, with far too few elements and probably tons of bugs.

So please don't think of this as something playable as a game.

What's currently not implemented and future plans are listed below, so please check beforehand.

It's now at least at a stage where it can be run.

I said I'd be making new monsters along the way, but that turned out to be a lie too...

I really wanted to add more skills and elements to make it more game-like, but since around the beginning of this year I've been endlessly repeating the cycle of "If I make this much, I'm almost done" → "There's still so much I need to make!" and I felt like I was going crazy, so I couldn't do any more.



Below are the currently unimplemented elements and their implementation priority:


・Unimplemented Monsters ★★★★☆ (Priority: High)

Larval Merman, Alresia, ANG-EL01, LG-SPD-P (Spider Pod)

The above monsters are not implemented. While I'd like to implement them as soon as possible, ANG-EL01 and LG-SPD-P are somewhat exceptional cases... (more on this later)



・Monster Girls ★★★★☆ (Priority: High)

Monsterization and monster girls are not implemented at all.

I wanted to include this since it's our central popular content, but it was postponed because creating all the animations was too demanding.

Personally, I'd like to implement this soon, but since it requires building new systems, it might not go as smoothly as hoped.



・Mechanical Elements ★☆☆☆☆ (Priority: Low)

ANG-EL01, LG-SPD-P, and mechanization-related content have difficult elements, so even if implemented, it will be much later.

Though ANG-EL01 and LG-SPD-P might be implemented as provisional versions...



・Game Systems and Elements ★★★★★ (Priority: High)

While I never aimed for incredibly playable content from the start, I think other elements can't be enjoyed unless it takes the form of proper "gameplay" to some extent, so I'd like to shape it into something more game-like.



・Monster Actions and Animations ★★★☆☆ (Priority: Medium)

Not all previously released animations and actions are implemented, only some. Also, there are no finish motions for H animations. Additionally, slimes currently have no special animations at all.

I'd like to add these gradually, but clothed H animations won't be implemented in this game (due to material constraints).

Also:

Specter → Spectral intercourse

Slime → Body invasion/takeover

These two will be implemented as actions for other similar monsters.

It's kind of like padding the monster count, but I also thought putting too many elements into one monster might be awkward...



・Named Characters ★★☆☆☆ (Priority: Medium)

Named characters like Tilti are planned to appear in this game, but since they haven't been adapted to game models yet, they're being put off for a bit.



・Breast Size ★★★☆☆ (Priority: Medium)

Currently, everyone has the same breast size. Also, the sizes aren't consistent between clothed and naked states, but please bear with this for now...



・Breeding ★★☆☆☆ (Priority: Low)

Currently, monster breeding only lets you view animations without any meaningful purpose. However, I'd like to add game-meaningful elements.



・Fusion ★☆☆☆☆ (Priority: Low)

The fusion system I showed before was just experimental and isn't implemented. Personally, it's something I really want to do, but since the hurdles for adding it are high, it's being postponed.




Well, it's taken a long time to get this far. Indeed, there's a difference between just thinking about things and actually making them.


The current game's production goal is "getting familiar with game development," and I've somehow made it this far thinking "I have to make it at least minimally functional." In that sense, you could say the goal has already been achieved.

Of course, I'd like to at least create the elements listed above, but if I feel the return is low relative to the cost (the satisfaction of supporting patrons is low relative to the time resources being consumed), I might reconsider my approach.


But well, since I haven't been able to create new monsters for a while, I think I'll prioritize making new monsters for the rest of this year.

I was really torn about whether or not I should add the vore action in the current version, but if you enjoyed it, then it was worth doing. By the way, when you say you couldn’t record it, do you mean it was an issue with the save data?

The Ci-en link worked perfectly! The game seems pretty fun so far, with the available animations being really good. I'm usually not a big fan of auto-battle style games, but this one works pretty well, especially with occasionally being able to direct it yourself. Can't wait to see how you develop it further!

Thank you. It's still very much a work in progress... While Specter possession should be able to activate during combat, since there are almost no means to inflict mental damage, the current version doesn't anticipate possession activation during battle. Please wait for future updates.

There might be issues with posting storage links from sites like this. FANBOX sometimes becomes very slow to load, so you could try accessing it at a different time. I’ve also uploaded the exact same article on Fantia and Ci-en, and downloads should be available there even without following me, so it might be better to download from those sites.

Well, having a different-colored variant is one possible approach.

The fanbox download straight up will not work for me for whatever reason. Is there a potential to upload it to another service such as MEGA, which seems to function far more reliably for downloads?

You could make a differently colored slime be the possession one, that way there's not an excessive amount of reworking it.

There was an idea to set a kind of resistance value for adding adventurers as subordinates, but I’m concerned that it might make what needs to be managed too complicated. In any case, the meaning behind monsters’ actions will be gradually expanded from here on.

The implementation of those two is difficult, not just because they aren't simple monsters, but also in the sense that their appearance mechanisms are unique.

Awesome! I'll have a look! One thing I thought of: What if the had a "willpower" stat that has to be overcome before you can "convert" them to your side? It would give a purpose for those (currently unused) monster actions; they could be used to reduce the willpower. This would allow more variation in the prisoners (higher level = more willpower, class affects willpower, like thief = low and cleric = high). It could also allow variation in the monsters; weak monster needs a very low willpower to convert a prisoner, but a powerful monster can do so with a high willpower prisoner.

I think in order to obtain an ANG-EL01 or the Spider Pod, you'd have to send a group out on mission to find and defeat/convince one to join you

Thank you for your feedback. I looked into it, and while the damage itself was being applied, it seems there was a bug where the death check process was being skipped if the paralysis or freeze status effect occurred. It should be fixed in the re-uploaded version… hopefully. I had completely overlooked this, and it was something quite difficult to notice, so your help was much appreciated. At the moment, the only one capable of performing mental attacks is the Specter. Of course, there really should be more effects and abilities that deal mental damage, but I didn’t have the capacity to create and add more skills or status effects. As mentioned above, the more elements I add, the more bugs end up appearing… Currently, the Specter’s abilities aren’t actually intended to be activated in practice. As for the last point—apologies if I misunderstood—but the game is designed to progress automatically by default, so switching modes like that isn’t possible.

In this current state I already enjoyed the mechanic the game offer. I'm bit confused with some of the ability skill like thunderbolt and ice needle because from what I observed they don't deal any magic damage as in no damage. Also is Spectre the only monster that deal mental damage? it's bit hard to do possession skill during battle I hope there is toggle full auto or manual during battle. Overall this game sounds promising.

Thank you very much. Regarding the issue you pointed out, after checking, it seems that the maneater’s parasitism action was not being executed only when the language was set to English, so I have made a fix (your save data should still be usable... I think). The bug where the maneater’s action wouldn’t trigger was overlooked because I fixed it just before release. Since fixing one thing can sometimes cause issues elsewhere, I’m a bit hesitant about re-uploading for minor fixes. I just hope this fix hasn’t created any new problems.

It took a very long time to build the framework. Once the foundation is in place, some parts will get a bit easier, but there are still many elements that need to be added, so I have to keep working hard.

Wow, it is amazing to play this, especially after following your progress for so long! I really enjoyed it, and I'm very excited about the other features that aren't in the game yet. Oh, and I was a bit sad that the maneater parasitism did not function; that scene was the one that first got me into your art.
