Hit Row rolls up, Swerve says I saw you had a match on Main Event, you need to drop that title tonight cuz Vince thought of a terrible gimmick he needs to saddle someone with. TONIGHT.

Kross gets on the mic, calls out Gargano, says last week I got you, this week you got me. I am willing to die by the sword I live by and at present time, I wanna know if you’re willing to do the same. I dare you to walk to this ring and see how well you fare when I see the shot coming.

Kross and Joe have a face off, Kross says you’re doing a heluva job, Joe!

After the match, LA Knight comes out, says Yah Cameron grimes wins and nobody gave a damn! Knight says actually- this title wields a lot of power, I’ve got everything I need, there is one piece missing- in the transformation to the million dollar man, the million dollar megastar, LA Knight- if you’re so hot to get this, i tell ya what, this week I had trouble finding my glasses, my car didn’t get detailed- GAB, me you this title on the line, but if you lose, you become my butler. This journey has been about testing myself. Last time I fought Cole, it was unsanctioned, and I proved I belong in the main event, and I proved I could be nxt champion. Cole refuses to see this, so Cole, come down and enlighten us and give us the excuse you’re gonna give after I whip your ass at the GAB.

Cole comes out, then JOE comes out, says excuse my interruption, but in the interest of your safety, I’m here to make sure none of the nasty events of last week happen again, so please have at it.

Cole: I was about to say Kyle, you wish so badly you could be in my shoes. You probably go home and hope and pray you have half the career I’ve had but it ain’t gonna happen. You’re obsessed with me and it creeps me out.

KO: Obsessed?? I beat you, I put you in the hospital, disappear, then pick a fight with me in every turn.

Cole: You need a dose of reality, the fact is KO is nothing without me. This goes way deeper than NXT cuz nobody would be talking about you if it wasn’t for me. Think of the UE, go back and watch that footage, who’s standing next to you, ME. I was the star, I carried you on my back for four years, and guess what, I’m still the star. The entire world knows it. That locker room knows it, whether he wants to admit it, JOE knows it. EVEN YOUR WIFE KNOWS IT. KO says don’t you ever mention my wife, I am ashamed that I ever associated with you and ashamed it took me this long to realize what a pathetic human piece-- they go at it, Joe says calm down. Adam Cole attacks, Joe ducks, Kyle takes him down, puts him in a heel hook and JOE DOES NOTHING. He walks out, brings in security, but by then KO has let go.

Hit Row is backstage, hyping up Swerve. He says tonight we’re gonna find out that Swerve is just different.

They get chairs out, Ciampa says we make this look good, and next week, the champs are the underdogs, Thatcher hasn’t held gold in NXT, this old man is hungry. Toothless Timmy is a man of few words, but look at him, really take a look at him. This man is motivated, and me, the entire world knows, there isn’t a man alive that elevates a title like me. Nash speaks up, Thatcher says hey let him finish. Wes says NO, listen to us- we respect you, we hear people talking, we get it. Nash says we may be the young guns, the underdogs, but YOU are the challengers, Wes: and next week the challengers are gonna find out why MSK are the tag team champions. Nash says you, I don’t think they heard us, he slaps Ciampa, who does nothing as Thatcher goes ballistic. Ciampa calms him down, Ciampa gets in Nash’s ear, says that was a free one. Next week, not so much.

Regal is backstage, Sarray asks Regal for a match with Toni Storm

Kross is getting in his carmax Challenger, Johnny attacks, slams the door into Kross a bunch of times, gets in the camera as Kross gets right back up, attacks him and Theory, then goes to RUN HIM OVER and Joe pulls JOhnny out of the way. He says JOhnny you might have pushed him too far.

Reed has the upper hand, squishing and striking Swerve. He goes up for a tsunami, B Fab distracts the ref, Adonis pulls Reed down, Adonis distracts as Dolla loads up to pounce Reed, but he sidesteps and Dolla goes FLYING through the barricade, Adonis comes SCREAMING NOOOOO around the corner, he’s launched over the barricade onto Dolla, Reed comes in, gets kicked immediately, then hit with a 450 for the win
