Recently he's been pretty vocal about his opposition to an open pit coal mining operation in his his neck of the woods. He's a great song writer. His politics seem to be like most reasonable people: evolving.

These former soldiers, who were kicking down doors in Fallujah and shooting kids suspected of wearing suicde vests consider American police to be loose cannons with zero checks and balances.
