I can't gush enough, all these revelations make the slowburn worth enduring, as we learn the tale of the Winter & Summer Kings, the original form of the Emperor & Raven Consort. One cannot exist without the other, many dynasties rose & fell quickly as we were told, when the Goddess Niao Lian was angered by the slaying of a Winter King by the Summer King, thus punishment was dealt out... Shouxue cannot abandon her position, even if she wanted to, the influence of the Goddess is too strong, death would only come for her.
Luan Bingyue's sudden reappearance left me speechless & hyped, even if that cliffhanger was straight up cruel! Next time can't come fast enough, holy shit!
