Development Update (Scenario Editor Overhaul Release)
Added 2022-02-27 09:47:48 +0000 UTCThe new editor was released a few days ago. Thank you to everyone who participated in early access and gave feedback, which led to more features like the option to duplicate scenarios and change the primary company in a scenario.
The new editor took almost two months to complete, which was longer than I expected. I ended up diving deep into how the new editor would work, reworking all parts of it to be smoother to use.
I think this extra effort will pay off in the long run. Scenario creation is integral to the game, and it's much easier to create and edit scenarios now. This should lead to a higher quality and quantity of scenarios for users to choose from, which adds to the depth of JoW.
With the update done, it's time for the next one! I'll post a features description and poll soon.
Thanks for reading!

same for retired titles.
2022-03-01 17:23:11 +0000 UTCteam history would be great. the game isn't set up to track that yet, but I plan on changing it so teams aren't removed when you disband them. that way you can track history, past members, have reform team segments, view disbanded teams etc. same for retired titles. mentioning a workers team and team members on their page is a no brainer.
2022-03-01 17:20:24 +0000 UTCI agree with Johnathan, especially about the tag teams. It is disappointing when one of the tag team members retire or leave the company the history of that team vanishes.
2022-03-01 14:26:03 +0000 UTCAnd since I'm just flooding you with wishlist items now: There are some tag things that could be improved. When I look at a worker's profile, if he's in a team, it's not listed that he is, or whom his partner is. That feels strange. And in terms of history tracking, I'd personally LOVE if their profiles kept a record of all teams they've been on (and perhaps win/loss records for those teams?) I think it would help show a worker's complete history if JOW also tracked that. I have a main event worker that started 15 years ago as a tag team worker. I want to book him now against his former partner but I can't remember who it was and if I look at the event history I just have the team name and that doesnt help me. Ive started naming all my tag teams "Name & Name" to work around this, but it's less fun that way of course. I dont break up teams as much as i'd like too because of this either. I think it would also create a fun new segment opportunity. Something like "Getting the Band Back together" for former tag team partners where it could end with them reforming the previous tag team.
