Development Update (Scenario Editor Overhaul)
Added 2022-02-12 20:37:21 +0000 UTCMost of last week was spent on integrating the new editor with the back-end and testing it. It took longer than expected, but I thought it should be tested thoroughly so live scenarios don't get affected by big bugs.
With that done, the new editor will be available for early access on Monday! Let's go over the final changes.
Here I make a quick update to an existing scenario. See how quick it is to load and publish the changes? The scenario should also how up under New Game instantly, instead of having to wait ~10 minutes.
Here I am using Edit & Play to publish an edit then update it. The new editor shows up here too, and changes show up instantly.
I can't wait to get this out to help streamline your scenario creation and stop hanging your browsers!
