The general first impressions of Lalo tend to be a combination of intrigue, attraction, and tension. Interesting combination for sure. Rainer Bock is so wonderful as Werner here, all those little details in his performance just make it feel real. There was a reactor who said that Kim and Jimmy felt more like siblings and that he longed for real romance like in Shrek. It was a genuinely absurd thing to say and I did such a double take. Of course they were very young and I can't judge too harshly haha. Just thought I would share that bit of silliness.

2024-06-09 12:47:56 +0000 UTCGreat fun to see "Rag, Tag and Bobtail" back at work again, but thought the telephone scenes stretched credibility a bit! I mean the actual actors would have rehearsed lots to do that and we're supposed to believe Jimmy and his gang could pull off so easily? Surprised at Kim's turnaround but it makes her attraction for Jimmy more understandable. Lastly, I have bad vibes regarding both Nacho and Werner - hope I'm wrong though! Ps I always have music playing when I'm reading or even when doing mathematical calculations - just something pleasant in the background to mentally switch on and off at will. When I was young, music was rarely easily available, so for me, to have it on tap, is so comforting. 🎶🙏
