It was a big ordeal not only getting the rights to the song originally performed by Frank and Nancy Sinatra but also finding a band to do a cover that worked well with the scene. The band is an Israeli group called Lola Marsh, good stuff. And the way they showed time progress and how they grew more distant is a gut punch. The use of the song "Big Rock Candy Mountains" is largely a tongue in cheek reference to the fact that the meth in Breaking Bad was actually blue rock candy. Fitting song! One of the more intriguing things about Kim is how defensive she is about Jimmy. Even when she isn't happy with him she feels the need to stick up for him. As a character trait I love it but if she were a relative of mine it would drive me nuts!
