General update: Troubleshooting notifications, quality check-in, questions
Added 2025-02-09 21:18:58 +0000 UTCSo, its recently been pointed out to me that some of the tier 1 and tier 2 patrons are having a worse experience because they don't get notified of the fact that I unlock the chapters they have access to, and they don't get an email. As a Patron myself I know that sometimes its nice to just read the post in the gmail app too.
My issue is that what also Tier 3+ probably experienced today is that if I enable the function to notify people when I update a post, all tiers get a message. Is this too much of a turn-off? Guys from Tier 1/2 did you get an e-mail?
Does anyone know another solution to this? For example, would there be a way to release the chapter again, only visible to a certain tier, not just that it shows up as locked? I'm afraid that would clutter the feed too much and also lead to a worse overview.
I've been trying to improve the Patreon a bit recently, adding a discord and adding value there, and now I'm trying to figure out ways to improve Patreon itself. Feel free to give suggestions or ask questions.
How are we feeling with writing quantity and quality? Also interested in hearing what people say.
