Yeah Leviathan was great, and disturbing. I also loved "Deep Star Six" (1989). Think I just love underwater creature movies.

2021-04-16 02:44:12 +0000 UTCThis is a very good sleeper movie from James Cameron collection. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Too bad you didn’t watch the special edition though. The SE explains a little more on the ending why the aliens are doing what they did to the submarine.

There is a one hour documentary on Youtube called "Under Pressure: The making of the Abyss" that will explain it all. It's very, very interesting. Its considered to be one of the most problematic productions in movie history. Check it out and you'll find out why. And no rats were harmed in the production of the film :) By the way, the villain (Michael Biehn) was also Dwayne Hicks from aliens. Guess he likes working with James Cameron :)
