Update on the rewrite (it done!) and some other stuff.

First of all, glorious news. The rewrite, in all its long and traumatic glory, is finally done.

Thank you all for your support of the story through these dark months (and months.... and months...) while i laboured to do the best i could, for the story.

With that out of the way, i must unfortunately also talk 'business' and set out some changes going forward. Specifically, membership benefits (no, don't get pitchforks! nothing changes (yet!))

Previously, I had no intention to sell advance chapters, however, some changes in my life-circumstances over the last year, have unfortunately forced a slight re-evaluation in this. I wrote this story for my own enjoyment, and I’d prefer everyone who reads it to enjoy it, together, as well, and that is still my overall hope.

The informal compromise, for some time, has been that all Patreons, no matter your tier, get access to draft material through the story discord, relating to the rewrite (now done, and feature complete) and also, for book 3, that has not yet been released on royal road. These are not really ‘advance’ chapters, but should be considered rather as a look ‘behind the curtain’ of the story creation process, as my thanks for all your support through the lean periods of the story.

This will continue, for the foreseeable future, but what does this mean, specifically.

1) The story dropping on and off hiatus regularly on Royal Road is sort of non-desirable, so currently,  the release schedules for what amounts to a fairly precious backlog (the rewrite and book 3) are being discussed and pondered by myself and my editors.

2) As such, All rewrite content is available, in full to subscribing patreons, as it has been, while i will probably release it on Royal Road over a short(ish) period of time. This will also remain.

3) Book 3 content will probably release once every two weeks, once things are stable. Patreons will again get access (as they have had for a while) to the draft's as they are written, for now.

4)If, eventually, the story shifts to a more traditional ‘advance chapter’ model, in the future (with multiple chapters offered under the £5 tier), anyone, who was already a Patreon prior to that point (or any tier) will retain the full access they had (to draft content), as a thank you for your long term support of this story.
