Hello, everyone!
I've got some exciting news for you about our next update, we're making good progress! The next update will primarily focus on our "mature" side of things (finally, I know), and we're excited to share some information.
We've put a lot of time and effort into "procedural animations," trying to make each "pose" or animation unique every time it's played.
This includes body part physics, which is not animated but rather simulated using physics in the new "fool around system," which gives us great power and allows you to use a wide range of... tools... and have body parts interact correctly.
However, as the saying goes, "with great power comes great responsibility," and having everything simulate means a lot can go wrong, which is usually amusing but isn't always a good thing... so our task now is to figure out just how simulated we want to go.
We're considering allowing players to break the rules and experiment by adding a subsection to the menu system; we believe this provides the most options, and who knows, maybe some of those features will eventually make their way into the "standard" menu.
This is consuming a significant amount of time and resources, but it is an essential component of Project Blue Moon and our vision of creating a truly mature post-apocalyptic RPG. We appreciate your continued support and patience, as this game would not be possible without you.
We're working on a short video to show off some of the other things and features we're developing; it should be available soon. ;D
Stark.
