Video Essay Playlist

I've made a playlist of videos that have helped sharpen my writing. For anyone else interested, here's the link. Most aren't "lessons" on writing per se, but they still cover a lot of fun ground-- character psychology, time loop mechanics, screenplays, Korean horror, bad Japanese visual novels, Riverdale, Judaism, the Witcher, and more. They're largely pulled from films and video games, and some are pretty mean. I think dissections of "bad" art are just as useful as reviews on masterpieces. Also, they're way funnier.
Is this useful to most of you? Probably not. But if you're a writer, I do think it's important to touch base with reality sometimes. Get out of your own head, and listen to other people talk about the stories they love-- and more importantly, why! Not so that you can pander to a bigger audience, but so that you can better understand what you want to achieve with your writing... and how to pull that off. Good luck :)
And to everyone who celebrates, please have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I also love the Jacob Geller videos! I'll make sure to check the others out, too!
