This should now fix the gallery bug where the first scene is not unlocked. So when you encounter that scene again in this version, it should now unlock in the gallery!

Omake Scenario Vote and Others Things to Talk About!

Hey guys!

Runicca's episode 1 is done! That was... hmm... a ton of work. Honestly, right now, I want to wait and see how the audience finds it. I think I posted it at a bad time/day, will probably have to give it several days and see how it goes. There's not much feedback for me yet to see whether the general audience likes it or not. Thank you to those who have provided feedback thus far! 

Now that that's done, I'll go back to The Ramen Prince and prepare the secret route's ...

This one was a little challenging to do. Honestly, I think BJs are harder to animate than the usual because we need to consider the overlaps between the face parts, the inner mouth, head, hand, and the dong. On the technical side, I'll be doing something a bit different here and see that looks like.

As what the title says :P. I figured it's one of the things you like about this project. I mean not all my animated stuff's perfect or anything, but if I can make it move and look good at the time I'm making it, here's one scene I can apply that to. As for the water bath scene, I can't do the animation for it until I figure out what to do with the overlapping transparencies involving water.

WIP! More Runicca, Episode 1! I'm almost there!

This is the kind of supporting scenes that will be made for this game. It takes time to do, so I can imagine each episode will have several of these. I hope these won't suck my life away. This, on top of the combat scenarios and the animated ones. I'm going to be doing the special scene soon, this is the last scene for this episode. After this, I'll put in the sound effects, do some more testing, and out it goes!

I'm at this point right now. More than half way through but these later scenes will be slower to put together since they'll need animation and the some other scenes are still missing and needs to be drawn in. 

PS: How do you find the use of "LOL" in this scene? Do you find it out of place? The original script doesn't have it, of course, I put it in just for the screenshot lol.

I'm at this point (the screenshot) at the moment! The intro's about done. I'll see what pseudo animated artwork I'll put in later - mainly character close ups and character shots.  For the action scenes, I'll look at some inspirations for this, like the slashing animations. Honestly, I feel there's kinda a question mark on whether I can do what I've got in my head right now, but I have to plow through it to see.

About the sound...

I'm about done fixing this custom sound loop issue, I did sniff out some problems about it that can't be fixed. I nailed this already for non-Android builds, however, when it comes to Android (the browser like Chrome at least), there's an inherent issue when putting the browser out of focus, like when you click on the recent app list. This will cause the bgm playback to continue while the game itself is paused, desynchronizing the timer between the game and the BGM playbac...

All my friggin' energy's on this new game at the moment, that much is certain.  I'm in the process of putting in the characters in the game. I started out with Viktor, but then, he took practically the whole day to put in @.@. This is also because I'm establishing some new "standards" in the backend of things. But he and Lotte seems to be working now!

Considering he is a healer, apothecary practitioner, and uses mainly his fists, light armor and a ton of pockets were on top of my fashion list. Accents of white to emphasize him being a  white mana caster and healer. 

And a backpack to put all those foraged ingredients.

I'm back with our favorite detective! I had the uniform changed to something more proper. Sadly though, I forgot to ask for an undershirt design, so there is none of that right now.

In related news, I've also sent Ukyu the next set of characters to be done: Rika and Hanako. A note on Hanako -  I feel that I've screwed up her hair from the get go, and will have something else drawn in. The description of her being a "plain jane" or rather, a "hanako yamada" stuck a litt...
