Chapter 2: Combat and More

Hi everyone,

This is the last update before the release of Chapter 2 tomorrow and I want to introduce you to more of the new features you can expect.

Chapter 2: New Lands to Explore

Release date for XXXivilization Chapter 2 and More

Hi everyone,

Chapter 2 of XXXivilization will be released on Tuesday the 3rd of December.

The closed beta is going on and, while already some critical bugs have been found, I have a good feeling about the state of the game and am quite optimistic that it will be a relatively bug-free release. Granted, it is still going to be one of the largest releases I’ve done yet, so there’ll probably still be some bugs that slip through the cracks.

Mid-week update: Release status changed from soon™ to very soon™

Hi everyone!

I have exciting news: The work on Chapter 2 is finally nearing an end! This weekend I’ll launch a small closed beta to find as many bugs and problems as possible before finishing Chapter 2. Depending on how well this goes, I expect the actual Patreon release to follow one or two weeks later.

Weekly Update – Good Progress

Hi everyone!

This week I made really good progress in several areas. I’ve gotten all the events aside from one faction into the game so far. I also added a huge amount of new images like the one featured at the top of this post. I’ve also started fixing a lot of the bugs I encountered during my play-testing and finalized most of the Chapter 2 character creation.

I’ve managed to complete the content of one of the two new maps into the game, but the second is still missing. Version 17.5 – Patch

Along with today's public release I have also finished a small patch to also incorporate some fixes to the pateon-only versions.

The patch fixes some issues with the Arena and with population counts. It also adds one more buildable outpost and one image that I missed in the initial version (the new uniform being shown for the priestess in the beauty contest).

Weekly Update – Jumping Back into Chapter 2

Last week I dove right back into working on chapter 2. I′ve finished shaping most of the main story line and also did some much needed reworking of code that were steadily causing more trouble as development progressed.

This week has been quite productive. The basics for version 17.5 are complete. As I′ve mentioned before, this is a minor version that will focus on balancing and bug-fixing.
