I improved the rendering performance (exclusive to the Snapshot due to math library changes from Mojang) and adjusted the hanging sign so you can now interact with it even when there is only one hanging from the roof!

This update brings hanging signs physics to the snapshot 22w42a. Make sure to reset the dynamic block settings in case you already tried the snapshot to make it work. The next updates will be a couple of quality of life improvements. Meaning improved performance + usability (working on a more visual quick settings menu).

Patreon finally introduced the 30 day continuous subscription. Previously it charged on the first day of the month. Meaning when you bought the subscription on the 30th of the previous month you would get charged on the first of the next month again. Deleted V80 post due to a crash bug. Iris 1.3 broke the PBR support which gets fixed with this release. I also improved the snow mesh generation performance again!

I know that MacOS is really troublesome due to their switch to ARM architecture. The creator of the PhysX Wrapper that I am using updated the natives. I am not sure if it helps at all but in case it works for someone that wasn't able to use it on his/her Mac before please let me know!

Again more performance updates, fixed a snow rendering color bug and a physics related crash. I am pretty satisfied with the current performance of the mod so I will focus on new features from now on.

This update should improve the lag spikes caused by dynamic blocks by a lot. The video shows the improvements (settings were exaggerated). There is now a new option in the dynamic block settings which allows you to configure how many dynamic blocks can be maximally simulated near you otherwise the physics will freeze (to save performance).

As some of you pointed out it gets annoying when you mine straight up and have all the rubble on your head. So I changed the player physics collider from a box to a capsule. The rubble now slides down from your head.

Ok I just scratched the monday release and decided to release the shadow support immediately (you need to set the shaderpack that you are using in "Physics Settings" > "Smoke Settings" > "Shadows" to enable smoke shadows). Reason being is that I need feedback on which future shaderpacks should receive smoke shadow support. Please leave the shaderpack names in the comments!

This update was focused on bringing the smoke physics to more mods. Everything that spawns vanilla smoke particles now gets converted into physics smoke particles. So when using the advanced chimneys mod make sure to use the latest 1.19.2 version and enable vanilla smoke particles in their config file.

Let's start of this new week with a big performance boost. Especially for the particle physics and dynamic block physics. This update doesn't improve performance with Optifine. Only with Iris + Sodium and Vanilla Minecraft. With a huge number of dynamic vines it improved from 16 FPS to 31 FPS and for block particles it jumped from 92 FPS to 136 FPS.

This update focused on Geckolib support. You can now kill mobs from mods that use Geckolib and see them shatter in pieces. Ragdolls don't work because I would have to create Ragdolls for each mob individually and that's a task for eternity. Unfortunately this update only works for Fabric because of technical limitations on Forge's end (you can't use Mixins on Java Interfaces within the Forge Modloader).

This update will improve performance when snow physics are enabled by quite a bit. I added it to the 1.18 and 1.19 versions. The 1.19 version now also can disable collisions for doors and trapdoors so you only get the swinging animations.

Where do I start this one? Turns out I butchered a frustum culling update (which should improve the performance) a long time ago. Like V30 or earlier. In return it not only didn't cull away objects that the camera didn't see, it also recalculated the bounding sphere by going through all mesh vertex positions EVERY FRAME. Literally only 2 wrong lines of code...
