SNEAK PEEK

Have you seen my last post in which I transform into Alara?
After all that makeup work of course I also did an exclusive Patreon shoot! And the result and new set it's called A Date on the Orville.

I have here different tiers/levels, for regular cosplay (and creation process), for my pin-up shoots, and finally erotic science fiction content, so as you can imagine, each subscriber at different levels wants to see different things... Some enjoy all the Patreon content regardless of the target tier, while others are only interested in what’s included in their specific tier. That’s why I usually try to post the regular cosplay photos first, then the pin-ups, and finally some works more focused on erotica or including artistic nudity... I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but mostly I do it because I always feel like if you see a "lewd" version of one character first, then all the "normal" cosplay pics/content could seem a bit boring in comparison for some subscribers, so I try to scale the intensity if that makes sense XD

But this time I'm going to break my modus operandi, I’m mixing things up!
So be warned that I’ll be alternating between pinup and spicier photos and maybe after that the regular cosplay ones since I have a few shoots to share with all subscribers and February has fewer days😂

Behind the scenes: Transforming myself into Alara Kitan

I've been wanting to cosplay Alara Kitan from The Orville for years, and with the help of the FX prosthetics expert Monsters Inside, I finally did it! First, we made plaster molds of my face in sections, and after some sculpting work and counter-molds, we were able to cast all the prosthetics and small pieces!

For those who don't know the character or aren't familiar with the show, Alara is the Chief of Security on the Orville during the first season.
Here's a photo of her, played by the beautiful Halston Sage:

Zardoz WIP!

I'm working on another classic sci-fi cosplay—the surreal and dystopian Zardoz!

The sewing part is done; I just need to add the buckles.

In the movie, some of the Brutals wear some kind of mask/helmet, so I’m working on that too. I 3D-printed the mask, resized it to fit me, and made two copies so it can be seen from both the front and the back, just like in the movie! The mask is quite large, and my printer can't handle such a big surface, so I had to split each part into two pieces. Since I’m still a bit of a newbie with 3D printing, some areas didn’t have enough fill and, unfortunately, ended up with holes :(. I’m using a two-part resin to fill them in. Once it’s dry, I can sand, paint, and finish it up!

Meet Nova-9

I've been working on this project and new set for weeks, but I wanted to wait until Valentine's Day to share it with you all.

Just as I created my original character, Vamps the Space Ranger, to pay tribute to Space Opera and retro sci-fi, I've long wanted to create another original character for cyberpunk-themed sets. But I didn't want her to be another adventurer or warrior—otherwise, too many ideas would overlap with Vamps' adventures. So, for a while, I felt a bit lost.

That was until a few weeks ago when I watched Subservience, the latest sci-fi thriller starring Megan Fox. And that’s when inspiration struck—I then decided to create my own futuristic robot/AI companion character, my tribute to iconic cyberpunk companions like the replicants from Blade Runner, Joi in Blade Runner 2049, Her, Detroit Become Human, Ex Machina, I, Robot, Bicentennial Man, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, etc

From there, I began shaping her, first her name (Nova-9), the logo/brand and graphic design elements, her first outfits and then thinking the kind of sets I want to create playing her. But this won't be just modeling sets, because I want it to evolve interactively. After some (not all) shoots, I’ll offer simple choices, and based on your votes (through polls or comments), the set will take different directions. Will Nova-9 be playful, serious, or sweet? Her personality will develop based on your decisions.

I don’t yet know exactly where this interactive set will lead or how many photos I'll be able to create each month, but I believe it will be an exciting game.

For now, meet Nova-9—the latest in companionship technology.
Tomorrow new post and the first decision!

50 Shades of the Way

I must confess that I took these photos because, a few weeks ago, a patron pointed out that I rarely pose from behind.

It's true, I naturally tend to pose facing the camera far more often. But why is that? I’m not entirely sure. In pin-up/boudoir photography, back poses are incredibly common, and I know that many people find a glimpse of the back or the curve of the hips even more enticing than a direct frontal, even topless shot.
And yet, I’ve always had this instinct to engage directly with the camera when I pose. Perhaps it's because I feel a stronger connection that way?...

That being said, I want to work on different perspectives, work on the curves and sensuality of turning away... Because at the end, in the eternal debate of Boobs Vs Butt I was neglecting my butt-picking patrons. Sorry, there will be more booty-pics on my pin-up projects from now on 😂
Have a great weekend! Stay nerdy, stay awesome 😘

Blog entry: About Monster-Romance (Vol.2)

Let's keep exploring the Phenomenon called Monster-Fucking from a more sexualized and less "romantic literature" point of view.

The fascination with romantic or sexual relationships between humans and non-human intelligent self-conscious beings is nothing new, appearing in myths, folklore, and, more recently, in science fiction and fantasy literature and cinema. This concept, commonly now referred to as Monster Fucking, has evolved over time and found a space within online communities, where it is explored from various perspectives beyond literature and traditional romance.

A Concept Rooted in Science Fiction and Fantasy

The Beauty and the Beast theme has been a main topic in science fiction storytelling for decades. Old movie posters often depicted the beautiful heroine (or just a random woman) in the grasp of an alien or monstrous creature, an image that has remained deeply embedded in our retro-pop culture, being the pulp evolution of the "damsel in distress" archetypal from medieval romances.

However, in recent years, the concept has become way more explicit, less naive than that, growing inside online communities on platforms like Reddit, Tumblr, and DeviantArt; and not only growing through cinema, posters and literature, but also as a means of exploring personal desires and inner fantasies.

Two Main Approaches to Erotic Fantasies with Alien/monster Creatures

For me there are two primary aproaches (but countless different ways to represent them) in the way these stories and representations are structured:

  • Power fantasies: In these narratives, the monster/creature assumes a dominant and overwhelming presence, appealing to those drawn to dominant sexual fantasies.

  • Willing submission fantasies: These narratives commonly feature human protagonists who are going to enjoy the intensity of the connection with bigger non-human monster-creatures, either with an innocently/shy approaching by the main character or with a direct approach seeking that connection with the strange creature.

Of course, there are many variations and nuances between these categories, as different stories and artistic interpretations reflect a broad spectrum of preferences and sensitivities.

Influence of Popular Culture

As I've been reading many people discover their attraction to these themes through mainstream media, often without initially recognizing it. Films such as Star Wars introduced dynamics that hinted at this type of fascination, such as Leia's encounter with Jabba.

Other productions, like Galaxy of Terror, included scenes where female characters found themselves in vulnerable situations with gigantic alien beings, such the infamous scene with the massive alien worm melting Taaffe O'Connell's space suit.

On the opposite monster fantasy spectrum, when the non-human figure is female, the designs tend to be more stylized and conventionally attractive, maintaining familiar feminine aesthetics/structures. This suggests that the subgenre has historically been marketed primarily to a male audience (or weirdos like me... all these gorgeous ladys are aesthetic goals to me).

But this has recently begun to change...

Monster-Romance a Safe Space for Women and Men

As I explained in my previous post, with the recent boom in erotic-fantasy literature, it’s clear that this genre and its bold fantasies are not exclusive to men—they are also widely enjoyed by women. Fortunately, these topics can now be discussed more openly and without stigma.

Many productions have taken note of this phenomenon and have begun designing their male monsters with more attractive features, charming qualities, and the ability to seduce the audience. The truth is, these themes have long been embedded in folklore. It’s not just figures like Medusa, succubi, or nymphs that embody allure in our cultural roots; vampires, for instance, have been seductive since Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The key was simply to reconsider the female audience as demography inside the fantastic genres.

Monsters are sexy once again, regardless of their gender!

Among the notable examples I came across during my quick research, I would like to summarize the experience of one woman who explained that the first time she saw the 2016 Warcraft movie, she realized by then (at the cinema) she was way more attracted to the orc character than the human protagonist. That film became her gateway to discovering her interest in monster romance. This personal story has led me to ask myself what my first unconscious encounters with this subgenre were for me...

As far as I remember my first (by then non-conscious) contact to this genre happened in my highschool years. At the time, I was collecting dark fantasy artbooks, and I remember purchasing books illustrated by Luis Royo, a famous artist from my country. He had published a book called Prohibited, which compiled his erotic-fantasy illustrations. Artistically, I found myself far more captivated by the scenes that combined humans with monstrous creatures than by those that simply depicted beautiful men and women in sensual poses. I couldn't explain why at the time, there was just something mesmerizing for me about the fusion of the grotesque and the beautiful.

A few years later, I discovered the works of H.R. Giger and became utterly fascinated by his art... Also then came Garrus my first time playing Mass Effect, but that's another story!

Xeno: The Primary Kink Behind Monster-Fucking subgenre

I also want to explain that Monster Fucking is a subcategory of a broader concept just known as Xeno (from xeno-philia, from the Greek "xenos" -stranger, unknown- and "philia" -love, attraction-), which is the kink name and sexual interest in relationships between humans and self-conscious non-human beings, including aliens and supernatural entities.

This term, widely used in online communities, has given rise to a subgenre with its own distinct characteristics, exploring relationships that range from romantic to more intense or unconventional dynamics. Related terms include Teratophilia (attraction to monstrous beings, not cute vampires) and Exophilia (a fascination with the strange or unfamiliar).

From the adult comic A Polycule of Mars: https://www.patreon.com/c/garthft/home

Over the years, censorship in social networks has led these online communities to adapt their language and develop new ways of sharing content, ensuring that interest in these narratives continues.

In December 2018, during the Tumblr NSFW Content Purge, Tumblr deleted the teratophilia and xenophilia tags, causing the lost of tracking of all fanart related and blogs sharing those content. In response, fans began using the misspelt tags, teratophillia and xenophillia, to get around the bots. Content tagged exophilia were not affected by the 2018 purge.

                                                                        Illustraton by Hitsuji Goods

Within this kink there are many derivative and very different fetish-y approaches: alien tentacles, furry, reptilian beings, fairy, cat ears, inside the blob, alien hypnosis, etc...
I don't want to dissect every fetish related to fantasies with non-human traits (I'm not an expert), it could take days a lot of research I don't want to do and we wouldn't reach any conclusion beyond the incredible variety that exists.

I don't consider myself part of any of the kink communities I've described, and much of the information I've written today I've discovered while researching for these posts. However, I do admit that I love the aesthetic of the attractive monster, the humanoid alien... When I do blue body paints or alien pinups I don't know why it happens but I do find myself more attractive. For me there is definitely beauty in the grotesque, there is beauty in the monster, so I do empathize with that call for what's different taken to eroticism.

However, at this point, it is essential to emphasize that this attraction exists purely in the realm of the inner fantasy. No one truly desires a relationship with a being that cannot understand or respect you. Within these fantasy narratives, the safety and consent of the fantasy protagonist are always implied one way or another, allowing to engage with these stories without real-world concerns. This is an obvious point, but it should be pointed out again and again, because some people have yet to learn to differentiate between erotic fantasies and artistic perfomances that happen consensually (or in the imagination or art depictions) and real life.

So as a kind of conclusion, the "Monster Fucking" phenomenon have significantly evolved in recent years, finding a dedicated audience thanks to online communities, web comics and also pop culture and many movies as The Shape of Water (2017), Warm Bodies (2013), The Lure (2015), the Chechz version of Beauty and the Beast (1978)...
Beyond its erotic aspects, and from a fantasy dimmesion these stories explore power dynamics, submission, and sex in fantastical settings, allowing enthusiasts to experience new forms of storytelling free from real-world constraints.

Far from being a niche interest exclusive to a particular demographic, this subgenre continues to grow and diversify, proving that the fascination with the unknown is a timeless aspect of eroticism and human imagination.

Disclaimers: all these posts about common science fiction kinks we're talking about today involve conscious-intelligent beings. The non-human traits on these beings are part of each specific fantasy, but none of my posts is trying to talk about sex with animals or other activities outside the legal framework. Please, you have to see the difference between fantasy and reality with these NSFW topics.

Blog: About Monster-Romance (Vol.1)

I’ve finished reading Ice Planet Barbarians, and let me explain you in this long blog post the rabbit hole down which I have been thrown: the sci-fi/fantasy subgenre Monster-Fucking and Monster-Romance.
It's very interesting that the book’s author, Ruby Dixon, initially had neither the support of critics nor traditional publishing support, but she skyrocketed to success after her little novels went viral (many years after they were published) on social media. Young readers—especially women—shared enthusiastic reviews, making her series a global sensation and today her books are widely recognized and translated into multiple languages.

The story basically blends romance/erotica with alien encounters. The young protagonist is abducted and wakes up on a spaceship belonging to alien slavers, who plan to sell a group of human women across the galaxy; however the ship crashes on an icy planet. There, she meets a towering blue-skinned native of the dominant species. Though they cannot communicate through words, an intense and VERY passionate bond quickly forms between them.

So honestly it's nothing new, but what's really interesting is its current boom. The immense success of this type of novels has made me curious about the subgenre, which is currently thriving within romantic-fantasy readers. So, I've spent several days researching about these kind of erotic novels with monsters, which are being more clearly categorized due to their growing popularity (I will be focusing myself more on sci-fi than fantasy but I will compare both).

Also this is going to be a long text, so I will split this topic into 2-3 blog entries, one explaining the literary genres and some examples, incoming entries giving my opinion and going much more explicit with their derivative and most popular kinks.

"Monster Fucking" in Romantic Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature

"Monster fucking" is a popular subgenre of romantic speculative fiction that explores relationships—both romantic and sexual—between humans and non-human entities. These beings can range from monsters, aliens, trolls, cyborgs, and AI to mythical creatures, eldritch horrors, or genetically engineered hybrids. While fantasy has long been a home for these tales, science fiction has increasingly become also a dominant lens through which these relationships are explored, offering a unique perspective on desire, power, and the nature of love in futuristic or extraterrestrial settings.

Key Elements of "Monster Fucking" in Sci-Fi and Fantasy Romance

  • Non-Human Love Interests with Unique Traits

    • In science fiction, this often means highly intelligent extraterrestrials, sentient machines, or bioengineered beings. These "monsters" may have advanced technology, telepathic abilities, or vastly different biological forms.

    • In fantasy, the creatures may be fae, demons, shapeshifters, or gods, often possessing supernatural powers and mystical allure.

  • Power Dynamics and Cultural Differences

    • Sci-fi monster romance frequently explores the clash between advanced alien civilizations and human societies, as well as themes of consent and autonomy in interspecies relationships.

    • Fantasy often leans into the tension between magical beings and mortals, with themes of ancient prophecies, curses, or fated mates.

  • Forbidden or Dangerous Attraction

    • In both sci-fi and fantasy, the human protagonist may be physically or emotionally at risk due to the vast differences between species.

    • Some stories explore the consequences of xenophilia, biological incompatibility, or the societal taboo of loving something truly "other."

  • Metaphors for the Unknown and the Other

    • Sci-fi monster romance frequently serves as an allegory for themes like post-humanism, AI ethics, or first-contact anxieties and suppressed desires.

    • Fantasy often uses monsters as representations of suppressed desires, primal instincts, or the struggle between civilization and nature.

  • Futuristic, Extraterrestrial, or Mythic Eroticism

    • Sci-fi introduces speculative biology, alien mating rituals, and even biomechanical intimacy.

    • Fantasy incorporates magical bonds, shifter instincts, and fated lovers.

Popular Examples of Sci-Fi Monster Romance

  • "The Krinar Chronicles" (Anna Zaires) – A dark romance between a human woman and a powerful alien overlord.

  • "Ice Planet Barbarians" (Ruby Dixon) – A lighthearted series featuring human women stranded on an icy alien world, where they form bonds with a warrior species.

  • "The Last Hour of Gann" (R. Lee Smith) – A gritty, emotional romance between a human woman and a reptilian alien.

  • "Lilith’s Brood" (Octavia Butler) – A cerebral take on human-alien relationships, exploring consent, adaptation, and genetic hybridization.

-Fantasy

  • "A Court of Thorns and Roses" (Sarah J. Maas) – A romance between a human and powerful fae beings.

  • "The Kraken’s Sacrifice" (Katee Robert) – A dark, erotic romance with a Lovecraftian-inspired monster.

  • "Radiance" (Grace Draven) – A thoughtful and tender story about love between two species with vastly different cultural perceptions of beauty.

  • "Dark Needs at Night’s Edge" (Kresley Cole) – A vampire and ghost romance within the Immortals After Dark series.

Why Has Sci-Fi Monster Romance Become So Popular?

While fantasy has long romanticized the monstrous, science fiction offers an exciting new frontier for these narratives, blending cutting-edge speculation with deep emotional and psychological exploration. The idea of loving the "other" resonates with writters/readers, who explore in these stories reflections of archetypical real-world themes—identity, transformation, and the fear of the unknown.

Monster romance books weirdness-meter

Navigating monster romance is like exploring a buffet where the dishes range from slightly unusual to “what on earth is this?”. Searching about these topics I found this simple categories to fit lectures from normal to extraordinary and classifying them by the "normality" of the creature involved in the romance.

Alien Lite

For Beginners Who Prefer Their Coffee With Just a Splash of Alien

Starting off with something a bit unusual but not too out-there, “Alien Lite” is where the main characters look a lot like the cute girl/guy next door, just with a few extraterrestrial upgrades. Perfect for those who are saying, “I’m ready for a little weird, but let’s not get crazy.” Think of it as meeting someone on a dating app who turns out to be from another planet. A great place to start is with Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon, where the love interests are blue, alien, but surprisingly human-like in more ways than one.

That’s the category assigned by various blogs on the topic within romantic literature. I guess a fitting comparison would be if, while watching Star Trek, you find yourself more drawn to the Andorians, Orions, or Trills than to the human protagonists. Humanoid aliens designed to be pleasingly aesthetic.

Beast Mode

For the Reader Ready to Add a Little More Strange to Their Reading List

So, you’ve had your first alien date and you’re ready for more. “Beast Mode” introduces you to creatures that might not win a beauty contest in the traditional sense but have hearts of gold (and possibly a few magical powers). Here, things get quirky, like dating a guy/girl who turns out to have a tail. An ideal book to dive into is Grimspace by Ann Aguirre, offering a perfect blend of action, alien intrigue, and romance that’s out of this world, yet not too far out of anyones comfort zone.

Again, a plausible comparison outside of romantic literature would be if you find yourself fantasizing about heavily stylized characters with special effects, like in the movie Splice, or if something awakened in you the first time you watched Nightbreed.
There are still human features and forms to empathize with, but the designs are no longer as smooth or aesthetically pleasing.

Tentacular

For Those Who Say, ‘Bring on the Weird’

By now, you’re saying, “Normal is overrated, and who needs humans, anyway?” Welcome to “Tentacular,” where the love interests might have more in common with an octopus than any Earth-bound creature. This is for those who find the prospect of dating a multidimensional being with tentacles kind of, sort of, totally exciting. Dive into The Last Hour of Gann by R. Lee Smith, where the love interest of the protagonist might not look anything like the charming prince, but the emotional journey is as real (and as complex) as it gets.

Here the comparison outside of romantic literature might be to fantasize about creatures that have physiques, textures and shapes very different from the human form.
----------------
All of these examples and categories fall within the romance genre, so if you’re not a fan of romance novels (I’m not particularly one myself), you probably won’t enjoy the books mentioned.

Additionally, these stories are usually targeted toward a female audience. While they contain explicit sex, the focus is primarily on the emotional and passionate journey. They follow classic romance tropes, where the supernatural being is typically male and the protagonist is a human/woman, making it easier for the "target" readers to empathize with her "passionate struggle".

In my next post—which I’m already working on and filling with LOTS of images—I’ll explore these same themes from a less romantic, more explicit, and sexual perspective; but it will be published only in my tiers dedicated to more sexual themes in science fiction.

If you’ve read this far, please comment with the word XENO so I know who actually reads my long posts! Also of course, let me know your thoughts on the fascinating world of MONSTER-FUCKING

About Starcrash and my month of harder training

-Update on my Stella Star progress: I've finished the collar and attached it to the bikini, sewed a faux leather extension to give my boots a higher and pointed finish over my thighs, and finished the belt buckle (finally sealing it with a layer of clear resin).
Now, all that's left is creating some star-shaped tin earrings, making a wide faux-leather belt, and styling a wig (which is going to be the most expensive part of this project, getting one long and voluminous wig enough to recreate that hairstyle).

And now it's the story time about the little journey I've been on while creating this cosplay (and another one that will be a surprise).
When I decided to cosplay and finally do a Decon-chamber shoot as T’Pol, I didn’t think it through entirely (when I announced it I mean)… Jolene Blalock by that time had supernatural curves, an incredibly low body fat percentage, and great muscle definition... and here I was, choosing to do this long-awaited set during Christmas holidays! 😆

During the holidays, I completely stopped training and gained 2 or 3 kg from eating too much (festivities, plus celebrating my birthday, and several consecutive days of pizza and movies)... Normally, I wouldn’t mind too much, I really don't care if I gain or lose a little weight... but I didn’t feel quite ready to cosplay T’Pol being in my worst shape for quite some months. So, I decided to work on a couple of new cosplays in between to buy myself some time and then I threw myself into an intense workout routine. I spent all of January lifting weights again (nothing crazy, just the dumbbells I have in my home XD), and got back to belly dancing classes (which are much more physically demanding than the burlesque classes I was doing last year).

And finally, after lots of crunches and weighted squats I’m starting to see results again! Lol
I can already notice my shoulders looking a bit more toned, and I’m beginning to feel the first signs of progress after a month of training almost every day. So of course I'm still far from Jolene Blalock's insane physique but at least I feel a little more prepared for finally cosplay T’Pol on her skimpyest outfits 😂

I want to clarify that of course cosplay isn’t about your physique—it doesn’t matter if you look like the character or not (skin, face or bodyshape). What truly matters is enjoying the hobby... But for me it is also my main motivation for my "fit" journey. I personally like to get as close as possible to the characters I cosplay, whether through physique, makeup transformations, or ensuring my outfits are as accurate as possible; but that's just a personal decision I set for myself, and I don’t judge anyone for how they choose to enjoy this hobby.

Collab with Mia Art Digital, vol. 1 - Creating a Hyper Realistic Digital Vamps

Wow, I’m amazed of the results! As I mentioned a couple of months ago, I was planning a new collaboration with Mia Art Digital to create a new visual missadventure with my OC Vamps. However, this time, instead of working as usual with an illustrator, I teamed up with a designer and 3D artist who trained an AI model using my face and poses and finally worked on each photo and backgrounds!

To get this digital model, I took numerous photos of myself wearing my red outfit so the designer could provide the AI with different angles and then rework on the results to achieve the closer model… This allowed the AI to then generate more images to reinterpret my facial features in different situations.

This is the first test and Vol. 1 of this digital experiment, and I warn you, things will get really spicy from here!
I'm personally very curious to see where this collab goes because I have no clue beyond the fact that it will be a work with sci-fi elements, aliens and some sexually explicit scenes (remember that it won't be the first time in a collab, since my character Vamps has appeared in adult comics with overtly sexual scenes already... I always give total freedom to the author to write/draw/design what he feels to with the character Vamps as long as he respects the spicy space opera frames).

-About the creator of this collab:
Mia Art Digital is a 3D designer and although he does 3D work of all kinds, he has now specialized in creating NSFW content for adults by meticulously training models with artificial intelligence and then working with different design programs (you can check his Patreon to see what he can do in terms of adult content: https://www.patreon.com/ismia - or go to his Instagram to check his SFW edits (he uses AI and then photoshop also for those ones): https://www.instagram.com/ismia_art/

So, besides from A.I. debates, mostly because in my case I have given my full consent to carry out these 3D "fanart" works (and honestly I am super curious to see how far the results can go), I would like to know what do you think about for example the similarity? Would you be able to differentiate it today from a real "very edited" photography work in my studio? Do you perceive some Uncanny Valley on the digital model face? Do you think the generated model looks a lot or nothing like me?... If I have to be honest, and answering some of my own questions, I don’t see yet the digital model looking exactly like me in all the images, but I do think there are a couple of pics where the AI it's been very close!

What do you think? Are my days as model numbered? Am I about to go extinct, making way for digital pin-up models crafted by algorithms? I'll read you in comments or DMs!
I hope you find this dystopian experiment fun—or at least interesting—since I really wanted to give it a try! 😊

Creating Stella Star's space bikini!

After a quiet afternoon of sewing I have almost finished my Stella Star cosplay from Starcrash... the pattern is very simple, like a two-piece swimsuit with ribbons. Then I made the Count Dracula style collar with internal lining so that it has some stiffness and doesn't fall easily and finally the belt buckle with eva foam.
I think that tomorrow I will be able to show you a first try on test 🖤

Plus these new panties that have so many ribbons wrap me like a ham about to go in the oven, what more could you ask for from a lingerie set?

Leia captured

Here I am, trying to convey an expression somewhere between cold hatred and frustration... Did I succeed? 😅
I find subtle expressions like this really the most challenging. It’s so much easier to play over-the-top roles, like bubbly cheerful characters or downright wicked villains.

How It Started. How It's Going

I haven't forgotten about the Leia/Death Star pics... but since it's the same set and cosplay I did my Christmas shoot with, I wanted to let a few weeks go by so it wouldn't get too repetitive.

About my next Star Trek set...

I have already finished the set inspired by the decontamination room of Star Trek Enterprise.

Buying so many and such large sheets of perforated metal was VERY expensive, and I wouldn’t know what to do with them afterward. So, I finally went with perforated wooden panels, like the ones used for hanging tools. And after the panels, a lot of LED lights, putting the rubber floor and the bench... the truth is that it's still far from the accuracy I would like XD
But I think after the right studio lights and after the make-up and costume it will pop up during the final photos (and of course with all the oil and gel Lol) so the concept will be more clear.

Here some reference photos, and for those who want to review the ST:Enterprise episode in which the photoset will be inspired, it is the 25th episode of the second season: Bounty.
