When we went to record demos for that album, we recorded a total of 12 songs. 4 of them were selected for Quickly. 6 of them were properly recorded and intended to be on an immediate follow up album to Quickly, but we’re never officially released. As some of you may know, when we went in to record Quickly Quickly Quickly, we actually recorded two albums worth of material, and were planning on releasing a companion album to Quickly in 2013. As the new Tea Club album was being recorded and mixed, Joe Dorsey said to me something along these lines: "I'm making an album of video game music. I was enjoying rediscovering my 1996 Yamaha PSR 225 keyboard around 2013, and wound up writing a bunch of cool little tunes using the keyboard’s multitrack feature. They allowed me to do one of my favorite things musically, which is to create sick drum beats.
