Still busy at work on badges, I'd say I'm just about halfway through this batch. I'm giving myself a 3 week deadline to finish the rest. Let's see if I can do it!

Special Blizzcon event item!

I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek at a pin I hope to have made for Blizzcon. :)

I've already made this design as a keychain, which I hope to have available soon (*spoiler* after my patreon box peeps get theirs!) but I wanted to do something a little special to have at Blizzcon with me. ^^

Badge Art 091017

Still moving along with badges! I'm doing fairly well with my little schedule so far. Tonight I'm planning to get a couple more cleaned up and put flat colors on. :)

Sketch commission for Ghost! Bit delayed, I wish I had time to toss in a 3rd one, but I'm really tempted to make an animated version with the colors shifting. :D

I had a bit of a scare this week with my cat, she's lost a lot of weight recently and has suddenly stopped eating. I was really worried it might be kidney failure, which my dog died to in 2015. After a vet visit, they think its Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which is treatable thankfully! So most of my week so far...

Doodle dump for August

A few doodles that I've kept in a psd file this month! I haven't had too much time to do anything for myself lately besides these. A couple of the doodles I  actually turned into mini watercolor paintings while I was at the convention last weekend though! I may put them up on Etsy soon, I just need to take some proper photos of them. :)

I attended my first anime convention as a vendor this past weekend. Unfortunately, it didn't go great for me - I basically broke even just barely making my table cost and expenses back. I'm going to have to rethink my plan of action and try to do more work to appeal to a larger audience. In other news, I've been slowly working on badges and kickstarter rewards! 

For my Kickstarter, I'm just waiting to hear back about some sticker sheets. I'm unsure at this point if I'll be able to include them, but as soon as that's sorted I'll be able to launch! I'm aiming for the 15th. I've got a couple other graphics to make as well, but I should be able to get those done quickly.

Blizzcon badge Group #2 thumbnails

Man, the past two weeks have been busy for me! I meant to get to these last week, but with packing Patreon mail, my kickstarter stuff, and just general life and work, I didn't get around to these until a few days ago.

Kickstarter art assets!

A peek at some of the graphics and art I've been working on! I'm almost done creating all the graphics. 

I wanted to get some small postcards printed soon to send with Etsy orders and hand out at conventions. Probably just a small run of them as a test print situation. Ideally I'll use the same art and template to create a "thank you" card to include with backer rewards.

Starting to work on some graphics and promo materials for my Kickstarter! This is a bit of a work in progress, but ideally I want to try and include stickersheets for backers. I may also include these in the Patreon mail tier, though I don't have an eta on them just yet. :) Possibly for September!

Mermaid Pins Update

Changed the lineart just a bit! She was a bit too wide, so I tamed the hair down a little and made some more adjustments. :) 

Also picked out the Pantone colors! I think they're a tad off on a computer screen, but Photoshop's Pantone swatches aren't 100% accurate. Skin tones are a bit tricky. If I go too dark they look off.. and there aren't many light colors available. I'm pretty happy with my choices though.

Mermaid enamel pins - redo

I decided I wasn't super happy with the mermaid design for my upcoming Kickstarter.. so I redid her (or them, I guess)!

While I may need to make some slight adjustments to the new pin, I'm much happier with it. I also finally got a physical copy of a pantone guide to play with, so color matching should be much easier now!

 I'm going to try and spend more time on planning the Kickstarter this month, so I hope to get some promo materials and graphics done for it soon. :)

With Light There is Hope

I've been messing around with this on and off for the past couple months, and I'm finally at a point where I just kind of want to be done with it.

I wanted to keep it a bit painterly and loose, though there are areas I'd like to go back in and fix. I sort of prematurely put a texture overlay on the entire painting and accidentally merged it, so trying to go back in and paint over certain areas became a little problematic. Ah well, live and learn! :)

Badge Update: Thalee!

This week has been pretty busy for me. I've been spending a lot of my free time cleaning and trying to get our spare room prepped and turned into an office.  Yesterday I took a trip to Ikea (which is about 2 hours away) and picked up the furniture I needed. All that's left is to clear out some old furniture and build the new items. Then the fun part comes.. decorating!

I kind of put this on hold due to the other commissions and projects I have going on right now, but I spent a tiny bit of time this morning on this again.

Portrait step by step WIP

Mini Ysera for Ghost

Ghost asked me to surprise him for his sketch commission this month - sooo I defaulted to another mini Ysera. 

I managed to record about 75% of this - I goofed a bit and forgot to restart the recording after an afk break though. I'll see if I can render the video and upload it for you guys soon. :)

Llothien Prowler

A little Llothien Prowler mount for @Mule_NZ as part of his sketch tier commission! Funny enough, after he requested this I finally got it in game!  (Does anyone want to request me to draw Invincible too so that one will drop? ;) )
