installing a background is a job !

No joke ! Doing everything from scratch from the cosplay to the  photography and editing asks some work^^ But when it's done you are happy. :)

Here I'm installing my background and preparing the lights settings with my assistant cat Pitchoune.

The thing is, that by doing everything by myself I don't succeed to take different photo angles because I can't really aim the cam...

New Random draw, new round !!

To celebrate the fact that I could go to that tiny con called MangaDax and the fact it went very well , here I'm today to offer you the chance to get one of my new A5 and signed sketchbook I printed recently .

Unfortunately, now I'm paying back this cosplay week-end I improvised at home. Yesterday was really though with high pain and exhaustion, today is a bit better though but it will probably requires a couple days more before I'm in the shape and mood to continue working on cosplay stuff.

The good news is that it seems high temperatures waves are over for this summer so no more fever and dehydration for ...

I tried something!

Remember that Harley Quinn Costume I did ( customized) eons ago ? Now that my body allows me to move, I took my chance and decided to do a makeup test.



I took pics with my phone only for this one since it was just a test. And you know what ? This cosplay requires way too much time to put together. I'm never going to be able to do this for a convention.

I asked on Instagram but I'm also asking you here. What cosplay would you like to see the most? and which one do you think would appeal to most people ? I'm hesitating between these 3 , knowing than for the first and second one , my home town is already an adequate background for a photoshoot ^^.

I wanted to post here while at recovering at my mom's house.

Actually the temperatures in my flat aren't helping at all, in fact I was having fever everyday and  I was very dehydrated, the exhaustion and pain were so strong I couldn't turn in my bed! Sailor Moon doodles

I was finishing some sailor Moon doodles inspired by my wardrobe when my friend Clemy who was spending some time to my home suggested  doing a cosplay session based on them. Since I'm still not strong enough to wear a complicated cosplay I thought this was a good idea. Since the clothing were inspired by my own clothing, it wasn't too difficult to put together ^^,,

Taking the pictures by ourselves was more complicated I should say XD.

Health update.

My head has been killing me nonstop for 10 days now it's like it's gonna explode , fatigue , strong muscle aches , swallowing problems, digestive issues, accouphens, dizziness....


Not going to Japan Expo was not a whim. It was the best decision I could take....

Last year I couldn't stay long on my feet but at least I was able to go to. ( and that's why I'm in a sitting position on most pictures Xd)

Nowadays I'm able stay on my feet for longer that I've been able to for the past 2 years but it didn't prevent me from falling sick just in time for Japan Expo. sigh. . Breaking news

No Japan Expo for me. At least not the first couple days . Which means no 20th anniversary cosplay show...


My throat problem is just being worse and worse and now I'm stuck with acute sinusitis ,fever, fatigue and extra pain in my muscles.

I was so motivated to go. I'm disappointed... but it is not the first time my body stands in the way and makes my projects fall through. I'll get over it.

At least I have a full background and a video file all ready for the next c...

Harley Quinn's holster

Finally, one year after starting working on this, it's done!

Fun fact : Remember past year when I went to Romania to visit my father ? I was given a free pile of leather and buckle belts left behind by a (legit) luxury business that went bankrupt and left in a hurry.
I used some to make the holster kit and what I didn't see straight away it that the main big buckle ( at the center back ) is engraved "Dolce and Gabbana". Does that make my cosplay prop a luxury accessory then? XD

It will be the same treatments I took between October and January because we are trying to find what caused that brief but pretty amelioration in my health status.
