Chapter 4 Sneak Peeks! [UPDATED 3/2]

This isn't even half of the new areas that I've designed for moving ahead with Chapter 4, but these are the ones that are completely finished being designed (barring some characters being placed in)

Starting in Chapter 4, you'll be tasked with getting the Purple Crystal from the Dead Realm - on the way to which you'll pass through the Lonesome Road outside of the third part of Aemple (still under construction)  and you'll be able to access the Badlands!

Please keep in mind that this one doesn't advance the plot - it was really half parts me getting to bring the older parts of the game up to speed, fix a couple of things that needed fixing (because a lot of people were telling me they were unplayable) and laying the groundwork for the story here and there.

Oh, and along the way, I implemented the Key Items in Lady Dienro's parlor!

ILYBF What If?: Riley & Cheyenne

When I work on these long-runners, sometimes I become enamored with the characters or curious as to how things might have played out differently. 

Riley is one of the characters that stole the show for me during the development of the main series, and in my down-time writing it, I came up with this little domestic piece focusing on what may have happened if things had taken a different turn.

This one's a bit of an odd duck, but one that I think a lot of you are going to like.

This is the first part of a commissioned piece that I took on back in late November, focusing on Aubrey and her desires. Namely, how those desires affect her, and the people around her, and what happens when she gets to go to her perfect world.

A world where most everyone, but especially herself, is big and beautiful.

Chapter 0.3.2 Sneak Peek!

This is a rough sprite that I have for Gabby in one of the What If? stories that are going to be the focus of this next update. 

5 stories will be available to view as of Chapter 3, with at least two more becoming available as of Chapter 4. 

There are 10 planned What If? scenes to unlock throughout the game, For now, they require playing through all of the sidequests, but eventually for the finished version, I'm going to put more strict limits on what earns the Key Items...

So, before we get flooded with comments of confusion and possibly anger, yes I KNOW that the voting got screwed up on this one. Before the holidays got in the way, we had at least 25 votes (the last time I checked before I took that screenshot) so we're missing at least eight.

Monthly Reward Story! (Suggestion Call!)

Hey kids, Bless Their Heart's last part is going to be up by the end of the week (along with Coven of Calahree pt 3 and the December Mix & Match) BUT here's the thing:

2021 Roadmap

The Good Stuff [2021]

Hey kids, this is an announcement letting you know that there are going to be some changes to how I post stories to all of the sites that host them.

Starting on January 2nd of the new year, I'm reshuffling how I'll be posting chapters to DeviantArt for the public to read. I'll be cutting back to 2-3 bi-weekly posts a month. This will (hopefully) give me more of a cushion for time and give me some breathing room.

Lady Dienro and You [WHAT IF? SUGGESTIONS!]

Yoooo, so this is Lady Dienro - she's an enigmatic, possibly malicious, but definitely eccentric figure in Aemple.

She's got the gift of The Sight! This means that, with certain Key Items, she can peel back the void and show What-If scenarios. Starting in Chapter 3, you'll be able to access her after you do the second Delivery sidequest.

Basically, she'll be able to show you things based on certain Key Items that you pick up in the game!

I've got most of the meat of the chapter down, it's just a matter of putting in the last battle with the Fairy Queen and (now) editing in some side quests. Also figuring out how to best work in the strange witch who may or may not have premiered in Chapter 2...
