They have such a unique style and their stories are so fun to read and see grow. They recently created a fankid named Phoebe and she is adorable! ;w;

She is such an amazing mix of her parents and, of course, a perfect little mix of her AU sisters, they love her to pieces, Persephone herself is glad to have another lemur with a distinct feather/fur mixture.

Comic - Nothing left to say --

A ton of my ideas come to me while I'm slipping into sleep, this is one of them.

This takes place after 15 yrs. Lilith is heir to the throne, Persephone is set to become leader of the royal guard, and Justin is happy to be a diplomat for the kingdom. Julien and Uncle talk about stepping down in the next few years, the kingdom is stable and, like Karl's brother, they've invested in working with humans to bring income and advancement to their people. Hell, I even have Skipper go back with Julien and his family as a way to repent for what happened with Kowalski, he replaces Clover as the muscle.

It's Skipper how sees Kowalski first, washed up on the beach and frantic. He reports to Julien first who orders the guard to keep the penguin from leaving the beach, Lilith and Justin to stay within the kingdom, and Persephone and the guard in training to follow Skipper's every word.

He'll deal with the uninvited.

Kowalski is overjoyed to see Julien!
He immediately starts rambling over how he made a mistake, that he returned to New York and mostly everyone was gone. Private had become a leader of a new squad, Maurice had his own family with Darla, but Julien was gone. He continued that Doris never loved him, never let him be himself and kept him from everything that made him him. He doesn't even know how long he's been gone! He thinks it's only been five years at most, spending all his time at sea, he has no idea. And it shows, Kowalski is much more aged, a greying streak over his right eye, meanwhile Julien looks almost exactly the same, save for a wrinkle here and there.

Julien lets him ramble, silent and calm. Kowalski eventually begins to apologize, he never should have left, never should of kissed her, he doesn't even understand why he did it all. He's close to tears and begins to go on about missing Lilith, he has no idea about Persephone, and continues to go on about how badly he's messed up. He reaches out to Julien, that's when he speaks for the first and last time to him.

Leaving Kowalski to himself, Julien tells Skipper that he's done, he can take over from here.

I went through a lot of different ways this could go, the original idea had Julien slap Kowalski when he reached for his paw, but I think this is much more powerful. Julien has been through a lot with what I do with him  😅

I find this more healing, Julien definitely sees how life has treated Kowalski but it was all Kowalski's own doing. Julien has nothing left for him, not even pity. it's a bit dark, mostly for Kowalski, but what else is there? It's almost insulting, that he could leave and come back thinking they could go back to the way things were.

It's obviously very venty on my part lol

I'm not going to lie, motivation and enjoyment have been declining lately. I can only assume it's seasonal depression and, pretty much the mess the world is in right now catching up. My sleep is SO messed up rn. 😂

But I'm stupid and stubborn, I'm going to push through and try at least!

Ideas tho, that's harder.
I'm not really sure what to do this Halloween, what is a sexy costume that I haven't already done? Ah well, I decided to try Julien in that popular cat lingerie from a while back, I have those stockings, and they are cute to look at but the paw pads are make of a hard rubber, not comfy lol

That Julien dressed as Chi is so cursed, I appreciate Maxx being a sweetheart and telling me it's still cute but, I could do so much better I think. 😅

Just playing around with wings and expressions, still heavily using clip studio, love using it for sketching and inking, still trying to get the hang of using it for coloring.

Pretty much been a rough time so I decided to revisit an old meme for fun, I put a lot more effort into it because I really needed the NSFW panel to mirror what I envisioned and I love it.

I figure Uncle wouldn't have the patience for anyone outside of Julien, he isn't looking to make small talk or get to know anyone, he's here to support his nephew and being upset over the tiny food XD

Marlene is the kind of friend who excitedly rambles on about anything and expects people to be just as interested in what she has to say, she kinda drops that Julien was into her and SHE let him go gently lol Uncle isn't buying it tho and really wants her to stop touching him please, thank you!

I watched both seasons of Barry and it gave me a lot of ideas for how Uncle would interact with people, he's a Julien, self centered, he loves being praised, and Henry Winkler is super amazing at portraying those kinds of characters! There are also so many great moments in the show that I'm tempted to animate/animatic but no promises!

Anyway, I figure it takes time for anyone to really befriend Uncle, he doesn't like anyone, the only reason he's here is for his amazingly forgiving nephew, he's still in awe over it and when things don't work out with Zora he falls back on the only other kind of love he's ever had, and that's Julien.

I am so upset, lately I feel like I have no idea how to color and it's I have so much stress over so many things I need to draw it's killing me

I really wanted to see them interact --

I feel like Uncle showing up in PoM gives Julien's royal title more credence and makes Skipper feel more inclined to try and be nicer to him.

After everything goes down (Julien witnessing Kowalski and Doris kissing, than departing together) Uncle turns on murder mode. After Julien returns, he breaks down and tells Uncle everything he saw, Uncle doesn't immediately go to Skipper, he waits until Julien cries himself to sleep, and busts his way into penguin HQ.

Skipper's ready though and reassures him that they will take action and have everything taken care of, if Uncle is impressed by Skipper's anticipation of him he doesn't show it, all he wants to know is how Skipper plans to kill the former second in command.

Pfft, what, kill him?! Court martial, sure. Strip him of his position and rank, absolutely! But Kill him! 

I LOVE how Uncle turned out in that bottom image, drawing those kind of faces are so much fun and - this whole page was good for my poor soul ha

Summer sights --

Julien would totally be the type to wear makeup to the beach, gotta look nice while on vacay! 

You guys might remember the sketch for this from- last year.
Hah, I have a terrible sense of time because I swear I thought I had doodled this this summer but turns out I didn't, so I figured I would finally finish it.

From what I remember I shared this with a friend and they told me they didn't like how curvy Julien was- which, honestly killed my motivation to finish this. That's okay though, I finally got to it and I really like how it turned out, the colors all work really well and I do remember the swimsuit being suggested by a patron. 

I did go overboard with the smaller details but it was one of those days were you just roll with it, I hope you all like it!

Time for Tsu to ramble --

Sorry this took longer than expected to post, I passed out due to the heat and then I wanted to take screencaps and gifs for this lol

Listen, Uncle King Julien XII, I don't know what it is about him, he's just 😘 like a refined wine that too often hits all my kinks!

Now funny enough I didn't really fall for him until season three, in the Jungle Games episode, yes we got an absolute banger of an episode in season two with Uncle's Feartopia and - all the good stuff with Julien too very good, but it wasn't until I saw this face -

that I was like GOOD GODDAMN, I love that scene so much! The animation for it is what really got me, the way he breathes, how his eyes are visibly looking Julien over while looking down at him, just all the implications of it! It's these little scenes that have me thinking Uncle really doesn't want to kill Julien, not all the time XD

This episode is a good example of Uncle just wanting the throne and doing it in a non-lethal way, it's fun and you see a lot of fun eye contact and interactions. I mean, look at this - 

Before I loved this scene just because he gives Sage a little spank but he fucking waits until Julien is looking, like the look kills me! That side eye and smile it makes me so red! He's also pretending to have suspenders and I find that adorable X3

This episode also has this-

Like fuck me! I already had the headcanon that Julien himself has a lot of his Uncle's traits, he was raised by him so it makes sense and it's been touched on in the show, but I love seeing physical similarities like this! It's so childish and adorable! Uncle is just as much fun as Julien in the show, how is he not a favorite character?

It's like, Julien is a fun party king, he exudes a sex appeal I have never been able to understand but his allure for me is his confidence and, to an extent, his self love. It's like, I want that and I enjoy seeing him revel in it, but with Uncle, wow he- he has this sort of domination and control to him. We see that in the very first episode, he uses fear to keep control over the kingdom, he makes actual sacrifices to the Gods, and yeah was willing to let his Nephew die but like, the more the show went on and we learned about him the more I loved him XD

He has control, he loves control! Through fear and death, he did keep the kingdom safe, he kept Julien safe, and even made sure Julien's childhood and school life was good. It confuses me a little, which is why I still believe he holds love for him, it's just a bit twisted X3

I like all that about him, he can be just as silly as Julien but has this edge to him and I like that, he represents what I really wanted, control and confidence. He's got this dominating personality and it comes out the most around Julien, they balance each other out!

And as the series goes on, no matter what Uncle does Julien forgives him, yeah he gets upset lol who wouldn't right, but in the end he pardons Uncle and let's him go off with that indri lemur lady whos name I forget. 

They have this connection and balance, it makes me feel.
It let's me explore what I'm feeling and deal with my issues and trauma, literally!

I tried to explain it to a friend recently, Kowalski/Julien kept me going during an incredibly terrible time, but as I left that part of my life it sort of soured that ship. A lot of my memories where tied to it, with Julien I heavily project onto him, so he can change with how I change, but Kowalski- a lot of those memories are tied to the bad.

Which makes it hard to explain to anyone who hates how I've clung to Uncle.

Uncle and All Hail King Julien came around as I was leaving, it wasn't tethered to anything related to my old life or former partner. Not like PoM, this was something that they wanted nothing to do with and I built confidence through it. I love both characters, isn't that so funny, two King Juliens lol

Ah, I'm starting to bring myself down, sorry sorry, it's what happens I guess.
Because I've been through a lot of terrible things and you'd think that a dominating and controlling character shouldn't be something I want or want to explore sexually, especially with the character I project onto but I think that's the point.

It gives me control. Complete control in a safe way to explore myself because both these characters know what they want, they're confident, both have referred to themselves as sexy (they really have and I love it) and they work so well together.

Let me end this before I get to outside of myself 😅

Uncle isn't a "handsome" character, he's portrayed as a villain first episode, and tries to de-throne/usurp/kill his nephew for like, six seasons, but in between all that he's funny and silly, with a dominating side to him that makes me weak. 💖

Oh god, Uncle!

First off, I guess I'll keep any stand alone Uncle or Julien pieces separate for now, as usual all artwork will be posted to the discord server before being posted here, or being posted on a suitable art account.

Uhm, I follow Henry Winkler on twitter and dude does not help my Uncle love lol

He's just a guy doing whatever makes him happy and he recently went fishing and he was smoking a cigar! My loins!? I had to draw something.

Like, in actuality I hate smoking but, c'mon, in fantasy it cause no harm and you get such fun open mouth poses! Just look at him! I had so much fun drawing that.

More practice on lemur peep, I like how it came out.
I've done lots of research on lol on the mating of ring-tailed lemurs, they have little spines under the head of the penis and so far I haven't read about them having any purpose? They don't cause any harm during mating and often times the male lemur will grab the female by the waist and refuse to let go, even after ejaculation. So- I already have so many fun ideas I want to draw around that, Madagascar out here evolving the fun sex stuff.

Fun fact, tenrecs do not have penises, they have cloacas!
So I had to wing it with what I thought their balls and such would look like. XD

Uncle plopped in PoM --

I was def inspired by Serph, especially after talking to them about how Uncle would be in PoM, andI had to doodle some stuff. X3

You all probably know my interpretation of Uncle, if you're apart of the discord than you've seen my ramblings XD

He cares about Julien but doesn't understand why his nephew would leave the kingdom behind and refuse to return when it's obvious he isn't being treated the same at the zoo. Julien himself doesn't understand, he left for adventure and found himself simply settling in the zoo with only two friends and changing himself into a caricature of himself. 

For me it's a form of coping, in AHKJ it's obvious he loves his kingdom, out of all things that the one part of him he is selfless about and maybe with time that became terrifying. He's endured a lot and grown from it all but it was through a lot of trauma honestly lol 

Like, if we look past the cartoon aspects Julien was put through hell from all sides and takes it all in stride with humor and really REALLY easy forgiveness. Even with Uncle trying to banish/kill him Julien is pretty chill every time they meet and forgives him when he falls in love, same goes for his parents who barely have any affection for him but he still forgives their flaws and takes any bit of praise they give him.

Either way Julien is going through some shit and when Uncle shows up to help him through his first pregnancy it pokes holes in the persona Julien has created, but in the end it helps free him from his fears and solidifies his most important relationships.

I'm stuck with this --

Okay, I got really stuck on how to do the Skipper part of the one off I'm trying to do, and it's really halted all progress. This is all I managed to do! And I'm so disappoint in myself ;A;

I'm trying to figure out how best to get the flow, at this point Julien hasn't had any luck or any relief, so when he finally has a night with Skipper he expects to finally see stars! He's hoping their friendly rivalry equates to a good fuck but Skipper is surprisingly vanilla and rigid. Aaaah I'm still working on it, I'm really hoping to get ten more pages drafted this month and start inking in june.

This was a warm up and more CSP practice, which is maybe why art feels so hard right now. Still working out how to be comfortable using the program and modding brushes and settings.

AU - They get along real well --

This started out as a warm up and I accidently spent too long on it. 😅

I guess more Pancho practice isn't so bad.
In the demigod AU he and Julien get along pretty well, despite Julien's lack of enthusiasm and dark personality, Pancho balances it out with his own gusto and eagerness, raised alongside Julien as his personal guard he understands his humor and maybe is a bit too excited about sacrifices and beheadings.

I'm reworking the AU's history, I do love the idea of Julien being raised in a healthy environment with the love of his family and friends but he's still emotionless and fine with his duty of occasional blood sacrifice to the Gods.

Comic - Fit For A King - pages 1-10!

I'm trying a comic again but this time I'm going to finish it, or I'm going to try. 😅

Wall of text incoming, grab a seat and lets talk.

I spent the last month focusing all my drawing time on rough drafting this, I didn't want to share or talk about it until the month ended because I was trying to figure my mentality out. I tend to be constantly suffocated by my lack of work and guilted about how slow my comic process is, especially with Folksy Wisdom. It makes me not want to draw at all and then no one wins.  😭

So I'm trying to not care about everything that keeps me from drawing and this concept was born. 

It's been a while since the lemurs came to New York and Julien is looking for a new fuck buddy, so Maurice suggests giving the penguins a try. The story starts with Julien already having chosen and recounts all the encounters he had with each one.

I didn't want to go into this caring about what labels and warnings it would have, I wanted to recapture the humor and fun the show had, I wanted to enjoy working on it. And I am! I had a basic outline of the idea and just let my ideas and imagination go for it, I'm pretty sure you know who Julien chooses but the fun is in how he recounts it and how he and Maurice banter.

Each penguin is different and Julien knows what he wants, he isn't new to one night stands but he has certain expectations, he isn't pleasing you, you're pleasing him and if you can't do that he walks.😉

So up front the Rico parts are- not nice, the characters do react to it and Julien gets over it quick, not his first bad fuck, but it's really close to non-con and at this point the most sex we've seen but the next part gets better I promise. No other penguin goes against Julien's consent and the rest is a fun time.

I did my best at keeping the drains simple, detail and backgrounds can come later during the inking process, I don't want to move on to that step yet until I finish roughing every page out. I'm hoping it makes the process easier to finish.

Comic also needs a name, I'm so bad at that, oh! And of course, this is all a rough draft, certain details and dialogue are subject to change. 😊

Demigod AU - some updated colors --

I've been incredibly anxious lately and decided to go through some old wips and such to try and find something fun to do or motivate me.

I found an old comic mock up that took place in, what was once known as the False God AU, now actual Demigod AU, and I decided to just go over it again.

I was fueled entirely by anxiety so ended up not fully rendering everything but- ya know, I did a thing.

I really love how much brighter Julien's outfit is, before it was really muddy and didn't fit the setting, he's also less murderous, I mean, he still out there making murder but it's more sacrificial now. Adding the AHKJ crew makes him more stable emotionally but he still comes off as emotionless to people who don't know him.

AND as an actual demigod he has powers! He mostly uses them to intimidate, he likes to get his hands dirty but here he blasts some foliage away to scare Kowalski, who's only just found himself in this reality.

I spent a long time trying to find a good middle ground on how I draw Julien lately, cartoony but with enough realistic anatomy that he still looks like him but nooot? I don't know. Adding Pancho to more stuff too.

Commission - Some stress relief --

Julien can be a pretty needy king, it's always an honor to be the one to help him unwind. 

Sorry for the late post, the cold really messed us up down here in deep south TX. I couldn't even sit any my PC without my hands freezing, what's worse is I couldn't use my RV's heater since the gas line to the fridge was broken.

But before all that I was able to finish up this commission!
I'm so glad I got to work on this, I really love this pose, I need to draw more like this like aklsdjf JULIEN- why are you so sexy?

Hopefully it warms up back to normal soon, we aren't built for ice and northern winds, neither are our homes or infrastructure.

I tried doing a character study --

Because I wanted to try color palettes and figure out how I liked to color Uncle, I did this over the course of a few days, adding little by little wondering why nothing felt right.

And then I drew a little full body Uncle and used a recent pic to color pick and realized why nothing felt right. 😅

The eye marking shouldn't cover the his eyes bags!
It makes him look younger and to combat that I kept using lighter and lighter colors which didn't work either, then I figured it out.

This was also done entirely in CSP, I modified the brushes I liked to use and got more and more comfortable, I did some simple shading to get a feel for it and I like it. 😄

Sorry for not posting so much, I'm finally covid-19 negative and am over the moon about it but I'm stressed to hell over having to put in plumbing and fixing a broken window, along with doing laundry by hand. 😵

I'm going to be moving on to commission work and wanted to post something for you all, it was fun for me, takes me back to when I did simple, panel-less comics, I'm really looking forward to using CSP for comic work!

Valentine's looks --

I'm one of those people who loves going to Claire's and wants to buy all the pink Valentine's chokers and earrings, I love them so much!

But since I can't right now I figured doodling Julien wearing cute things would help me feel better, and I was right. :>

I don't know why I gave him that little hair flip, he looks so much like Pers, which is great I think. I wish we had seen more actual hairstyles in the show rather than wigs.

This was part of the same canvas as the NSFW sketches, I thought I would separate them for convenience. Lots more doodling, it felt so good augh I can't believe how much I missed it ;A;

Happy New Year!

Sorry for lack of updates everyone, I got the flu and have been pretty decently bedridden these past few days.

I had planned to stream on new years eve but- all I did was be unconscious with netflix going on in the background after I watched the new chapter of Transformers.

My fever barely broke today but struggles aren't over yet. I've been confined to my RV until I get my covid results, a precaution to make sure it was just the flu and so I don't get anyone else sick.

It's been the worse. 

But cheers to a New Year! Together we will make 2021 better, through sheer force of will and determination because dear god we need to!

Commission for a bro --

This is a commission a friend of mine asked for as a gift for another friend!

It's based on a tabletop RP, I don't know who any of the girls are, only Darth Revan who his friend uses as his avatar in game I think.

Took a while to finish, I should have charged more but he's my bro and after everything he's been through recently I feel like it was the least I could do for him.

What took the longest was the sketching, took some time to remember how to draw anime girls XD Revan has no one reference to use, I'm sure KH fans recognize the reference I used, it was requested that way. 

Really hope my friend likes it and who it's being gifted too!

I have one other commission on my list but I may not get to it until after Christmas!

This was fun but next time I need to raise my rates for all these added headshots lol

More sad times pt.2 --

This was meant to be a continuation of the last Uncle/Julien thing but I never got around to finishing it, I didn't really feel up to it.

Uncle suggests that Julien try and get some sleep and Julien agrees, Lilith is already out cold, Julien gently takes her into his arms and wonders how anyone could abandon such a wonderful thing as a child like her.

He starts to go into how Kowalski promised him the world, a family and home, that Julien only needed to be patient and have faith in him, that everything would work out. He feels so stupid and all Uncle can do is listen.

The last part mirrors a LOT of my thought process during and after everything, nothing but lies and broken promises for nearly 14 yrs, I put Julien through less of that, this all happening over a course of about 3 yrs for him and having immediate support from the penguins and Uncle stumbling over himself to be there for him.

It's okay Julien, it gets better!

Lilith definitely looks like Emo!Julien, which I love! Because when I saw that episode for the first time I def had that thought. I also tried to incorporate some Julienne into her, mostly with face/check shape.

Persephone came out better in terms of facial expression, again added a pinch of her grandmother but also realized that she could have gotten her light facial marking from Barty, which works out great in the Uncle/Julien AU.

I also love how scruffy Pers is <3

I need some sleep, this was a fun exercise in style and- I gotta say, I think I might need to actually purchase CSP, I'll wait until the holidays. It'll be on sale for cheaper X3
