I made a lot of progress on the Sub Brief over the weekend.  The main outline is finished. I am just filling the gaps and fact checking.  This will be a slightly different 'Sub Brief' than normal because we are in the Design Phase. No construction has taken place yet and most of the Design details are secret.... so,  it's how not to buy a submarine.

R-29R Testing (No Sound)

A series of tests on the new R-29R SLBM conducted in the 1970's Soviet Union. R-29R would become the primary ballistic missile used by the Delta III SSBNs.

7-bladed Sub Screw Skew (angle)

Here are two great perspectives showing the angle of skew to the 7-bladed submarine screw.  It slices the water like a knife with maximum surface area to prevent cavitation.
