Biweekly Build #55

Hello everyone!

For this week, I've got two additional monsters, the one from last week's preview and this new one! Additionally, the fire zone has been mostly mapped. Everything up to the zone's town is available to explore. The Silkfang can now be upgraded to level 4 as well which will provide a place for Qemiska to stay!

Hey guys!

So this week, I've been working on maps and monsters for the fire zone. Your trip to the zone's town will involve hopping volcanic islands across the ocean, passing to the final large island which will hold the bulk of this zone's content.

Biweekly Build #54

Woo!

The water dungeon is now 100% complete! That being said, there were some issues with the swimming ability you are supposed to receive at the end of this dungeon. Apparently, RPG Maker MV was updated at some point in the past and broke the plugin I had picked out. I'm working on a fix, but right now, all you can do is slide around on the water's surface like Jesus.

Progress

This week, I've been working on things that I've been meaning to add for a while. 

First off, the jikat was meant to be added early on in development as it is a neutral typed monster, but I didn't manage to find time to do it then, so I'm doing it now. Who doesn't love a catgirl?

Hey everyone!

This week, we've got the conclusion to Keke's questline which will net you the first half of the key to the water dungeon. To get the second half, you'll need to travel back to the Silkfang to learn another new power from Lishari, but all is not well when you arrive!

Biweekly Build #52

Hello folks!

So for this week, we've got a new build of Silkfang, this time with more titillating content! Biweekly Build #51

Hey everyone!

Almost Missed It!

Hey all!

Today was a really busy, weird day for me and I almost forgot to do one of these! This week, on top of what you can already see in the images, I worked on getting a crafting system in, which unfortunately, will break old saves. Don't worry though, I'm adding a dev room that will let you gain resources, monsters, and even skip content to get you back up to speed really fast!

Biweekly Build #50

So for this week, I worked on a scripted story sequence for Silvana that features a new scene, and got some new monsters added for the water zone. In preparation for the upcoming public build, I did some stuff to smooth out certain interactions and rewrote some of the overly verbose or unclear dialogue.

Biweekly Build #49

Hey all!

This week, we've got the bandit woods mini-dungeon going in which features not one, but two enemies to punish! These ones, however, aren't monsters, so Fee opts to do the deed right where the battle was fought. 

Additionally, you can now visit the town for the water zone, albeit things are a bit barren right now since I still need to add more townsfolk. The inn, shop, talisman shrine, and warp obelisk all work there though, so the infrastructure is up.

Biweekly Build #48

Hey all! It's finally here!

This update brings the full entirety of the wind dungeon as well as the combat system overhaul, a levelling mechanic, and some appropriate music for battles with special tracks for each boss. There isn't any new spanky content here, but the text adventures that came out today will be rife with it, so I hope that will be enough for now!

This week has been a lot of bringing the rest of the game up to speed with the dungeons. Right now, our gameplay loop is pretty small. Mainly just catching monsters, doing dungeons and talking to people. Not nearly enough character development for my tastes! Hey all!

This week, I've been pretty busy with a couple of text adventures, but I've been doing some stuff on Silkfang too! 

Namely, presentation. 

All the default RPG Maker sound effects have been replaced with more appropriate retro ones to the best of my knowledge, and I took some time to make interactions that you will be doing a lot (recharging talismans, teleporting, etc.), more punchy and satisfying.
