Look at that fucking magnificent boob grab.
Kelly wound up with the least beach content out of the main three, so I decided to spruce up her scene a little more. I took commission #44 and recycled it into this shot, which of course is also animated. It's actually one of my favorite shots from the beach update now. Though there are a lot of ones I'm proud of, for all three of the main heroines.

I probably put too much effort into this one, considering it doesn't loop and will only play once...but man, I dig those supple motions.
I might try looping the "Flin quiver, Julie quiver" segment, so that gets stretched out, before they both collapse. Then it'll just fade to an image of them looking each other in the eyes. I'll admit that this gif by itself is missing some helpful buildup and resolution that the game will have.

I did something new on this one, though it's nothing huge. I'm just always pleased whenever I get creative with compositing nodes.
So basically, in this particular version, Julie's boobs are separate meshes clipping into her main body. You could see the seam pretty clearly, and there wasn't any one tone that worked seamlessly across the surface (because the skin does have some mild subtle texturing to it).

I seriously apologize if you experience any lag trying to view these. The animations turned out to be kind of gigantic, and there are 4 different versions I felt I needed to share.
First, there's a simple loop of the wedding photo rocking back and forth. Then there's the full version, where it rocks for a bit, then falls. Then there's the cellular-level impregnation animation. And finally there's the largest animation of them all, combining the two together.

I'm only showing you less than a quarter of the images in this scene.
Amy's "teaser buildup" scene on the beach has grown to be the second-longest sequence of unique images in the game within one scene (assuming we don't consider things like the camping event to be "one scene," which I think is fair because I'm not counting the entire beach event as one scene either).

OKAY, look, I don't say this often but I'll admit her boobs are perhaps gettin' a little large in this version π. That was an accident, and I'm not using this version for anything.

The current Samantha poll has a choice to combine breast jiggle physics with a Mixamo animation, and this is an example of that. It's a bit janky, but I can't deny there are some pleasant motions in there. I think this kind of thing is a rite of passage for all NSFW 3D modelers π.
I had to edit the Mixamo jogging animation because Julie's arms were clipping into her boobs. It was not easy to fix that, and it's why her arm movements are a little awkward in some places.

Damn, man. I've been sleeping on the spring bone add-on.
By far the easiest jiggling effect I've found, and I ignored it up till now because I assumed it needed a better rig to be worth using. But in this case, it works quite nicely.
It does have some limitations and quirks. The way it works is: You set a bone to be a "spring" bone, and if you move any of its parent bones, then it jiggles as it follows that motion, much like a loose spring.

Stylized faces aren't shaped the same as realistic faces, and 2D faces can simply be redrawn differently at different angles, so certain things (like two people pressing their cheeks together) might turn out to be a lot more challenging for stylized 3D than realistic 3D or stylized 2D. It didn't turn out exactly as I'd envisioned it, but I think it works well enough.

Alright, before the month ends I wanted to get out one more progress report.
As expected, the beach environment was such a pain. When you're making an outdoor environment, you either find ways to hide the horizon line...or you need to model like 18 million different things to make it look sufficiently fleshed out. The only exception to this is if you're looking out at the ocean, which needs nothing. And fortunately, the ocean is half of a beach scene.

The perspective was tricky and I wanted to do more, but I hit a point where I had to call it good. For example, woulda been nice to animate the water, but getting that to loop nicely on such a short loop is a tall order. I might make the ocean a slightly brighter color, I didn't really think about that till I was done.
I wanted more jiggling in there too, but ran into some frustrating obstacles with how the motion was going in this one and decided jiggling isn't necessary.

As I've said, I originally made a bikini for Julie several years ago as a commission, and I really liked it...but I always felt it wasn't quite the style I imagined for her. So I gave that design to Amy, and instead modeled up the new design you see before you now.
