It's been a helluva weekend. I just got up and walked the dog, and I already feel exhausted. Fortunately, I had some Mink I'd prepared earlier.

Posting late today. I had set-up this morning, then drawing some caricatures of buildings for the Gloo Factory, banking, mail, shopping....in themselves, all manageable chores. But I was doing them in 107 degree heat. I was VERY glad to get back home and huff the AC vent!

Changed the tire in the morning. Yay, my truck is back in action! Then I spent the rest of the day mostly on drawing a Mink page. Yes, it's silly funny-animal fluff, but believe you me, there's worse things to blow your time on.

Yeah, I'm a day late, and a bunch of dollars short. Tuesday, during which I was supposed to draw the above, was instead spent on helping a friend obtain a new starter for his van, and then the longer slog of getting it installed at a price he could afford.

    Good thing he got his van fixed, though, because yesterday, my truck developed a flat tire. I swapped it out for the spare this morning, just before the heat got murderous. Alas, the spare was flat, too. So he ...

Sorry I couldn't get this posted yesterday, but pretty much all of Saturday was spent on trucking most of my stepson's big, heavy stuff from his rented apartment to his new condo. Guess who had to carry the stuff out from the apartment & to the truck? And from the truck to the condo? It didn't help that the heat was brutal, in the hundred-teens.
