The Remains of Robowoman
Hey everyone. We shot two videos this week. The first is a re:View of the 1997 not-classic Event Horizon. It's not a movie that none of us love or had even seen since it originally came out, so it's a slightly different approach for a re:View episode. And the other video is a Half in the Bag for Godzilla vs. Kong (that also goes a fair amount into a retrospective of the other movies in the "Monster-verse" or whatever you want to call it that lead up to this movie). Coming soon!

The next Best of the Worst will be out next week. In the meantime, here's a preview of the three movies we watched. Any guesses?
(and yes, the third image is almost indecipherable but it will all make sense when the episode is out)

Some say that they are still watching The Snyder Cut to this very day...

It's not completely done yet but here's a look at the current editing timeline for the next Best of the Worst.

2021-03-14 17:10:48 +0000 UTC View PostHey everyone! Mike and Rich shot a new TNG video! This one is about favorite episodes from the (famously bad) first season! That's being edited now. We're also shooting a new Best of the Worst soon that's going to be a simple, traditional 3 movie episode. The next episode after that one will be our 100th episode. Hard to believe we've suffered through that much garbage! Speaking of hard-to-believe milestones, we're coming up on the 10 year anniversary of Half in the Bag (the first episode pre...

This is probably the cleanest the Plinkett House set has been in about a year. You can actually see most of the floor! The TV stand is still the same one we've been using since the very first episode but it's been rebuilt several times, including just last week. It had been pretty heavily demolished back on the Rawhead Rex/Neil Breen Retrospective episode.

Rich's new contract states that he'll only work in front of a green screen for "no more than 5 minutes or he is legally required to leave the set". What fun! We've also begun the monumental task of alphabetizing our dvd/blu rays.... because why not? What else is there to do during a 1 to possibly 4 year long pandemic.
Also, please... please DO NOT use that image of Rich Evans in a Discovery uniform wearing an old time knight helmet. DO NOT photoshop it into other pictures and post...
2021-02-21 17:45:06 +0000 UTC View PostHappy Friday, everyone! With the recent release of Willy's Wonderland starring Nicholas Cage, we decided to start working on a new Half in the Bag focusing on the weird little subgenre of shameless Five Nights at Freddy's cash-in movies. Five Nights at Freddy's itself is a nod to Showbizz Pizza which we obviously have a strange personal connection to thanks to Dick the Birthday Boy. It's all connected!
These are the kinds of places our minds go when there are no big movies coming ...
2021-02-19 14:51:32 +0000 UTC View PostWe just shot a quick recommendation video for the recently released movie The Kid Detective. We don't go into spoilers or anything since it's just a recommendation video but just a heads up if you want to watch the movie before the video comes out. It's a good one!

Hey everyone. A new Half in the Bag should be coming soon. We mentioned in an earlier update that we planned to discuss the movies Synchronic and Psycho Goreman, but we also ended up doing a third movie, Promising Young Woman.
We also just shot an impromptu Best of the Worst spotlight episode for the 1971 Texas-lensed classic Blood Shack, aka The Chooper. We weren't planning to do a spotlight episode anytime soon but with the nightmarish Wisconsin winter in full swing and temperat...

Way back on only our third episode of Half in the Bag, fellow Wisconsin-ite Dustin Diamond let us interview him. And with the news of his passing, we dug into that footage and realized there was a bit more to the interview than what ended up in the episode. We made some jokes about him over the years, but he was actually really nice to us. RIP.
