Hello friends! So recently we were sent a sealed VHS tape of the Vincent Price 3D camera instructional video made famous from the internet comedy edit. Since it was Colin that introduced us to that video all those years ago we found it fitting that he should screen the tape with us! Was it going to be as funny as the shorter comedy edit? Nah, but it was still fun/interesting to watch the full video. Who doesn't love a little Vincent in the afternoon?

Not-So-Fast VCR Repair

For the first time, after aaaaall the years we've been doing this, we had to actually do some VCR repair. Well, more of just a cleaning than repair but it's still interesting to open up one of these things. While shooting the most recent Best of the Worst (coming soon!!), our workhorse VCR/DVD player combo that we've been using for probably the last 7 or 8 years just stopped playing tapes. Had a meeting with Jay today and we've got a BUSY two months coming up. Some RLM standards, but also we'll be working on a longer VERY different kind of video. Lots of stuff coming up. And yes, I actually could not get up and was stuck when I fell over because I couldn't bump the table or the back wall and had no leverage to get up. SUPER AWKWARD and I couldn't stop laughing.
