Here is the long version edit of the track "Hell + Fire". Before I started recording the respective video for it, this was the definitive first version. Due to the nature of a music video I sometimes shorten my pieces to fit the 4 minute mark.
So I kept on working on this version a bit more to feature and implement some additonal ideas and so here you have it!

Update:
So, I received some feedback on the new piece and that was awesome since it pushed me even harder. So I overworked the first entrance riff to keep the forward motion from the intro part in order to hit even harder. But I think so!

So finally I am able to provide you the track and I am sorry that I wasn´t able to share it earlier.
Unfortunately my laptop stopped working last weekend and so I brought it to my local repair shop. Bad news is that they can´t repair it since there is something with the motherboard or something else with the internal power supply what they could not find out...and they really checked the device in-depth.

So the last few days I finalized the new "Hell + Fire" track and video. I did some alterations and added more footage and also worked a lot more on the scenes with new virtual dolly camera movements, specifically also for the Doom Eternal Ingame Footage to make it look more intensive and cinematic. I am a person who loves to get into details. However, that is also dangerous since you can get lost easily.

At the end of the month, I would like to share a few of my experiments that I have done in the past to understand Mick Gordon's "Sound" better. Especially the production-related things. One aspect (apart from countless transcription sessions) was to meticulously recreate certain passages of his original songs. I think I went through a couple of those famous pieces of him, incl. Cultist Base, The only thing they fear is you, Slayer Gates, and also BFG Division.

Hi there,
Here is another brand-new track that is coming to you. It is based on the mix/sound Environment of "Apocalyptic Overdrive". I hope you dig it. In this track, you have a balance of groove parts mixed with gnarly atmospheric parts. Some of the Guitar parts are entirely based on Sine waves and the sent processed in a way that they sound like a gnarly out-of-this-world electric guitar.

So here is another quick and simple tooltip. Sometimes depending on the situation (style of the song, tempo, Arrangement), I use either a gate on toms or automate it manually (other elements too). In general, you can say: The more dense a mix is the more it becomes difficult to keep clarity throughout the mix.
