We're not sure what we're gonna do yet and it's not clear if replacing the mobo will fix all the performance issues. Most likely we'll fix it and it'll probably be in shape in a week, at least I hope so...
It's killing me to not be able to work at all right now. Only so much entertainment Netflix and YouTube can provide me......

This part I really like. Animating it has been hard (really not used to animating two people at the same time! Even if it's just a head...) and it's still more WIP than the first part, but it's gonna look very good.
In the final result there will be cloth physics for the skirt, which will look nice with the hand going under it (already tested it, will post WIP when this all comes more together).
This is basically the mold for the first scene - this is not an Eevee render since Eevee behaves very weirdly with sunlight and therefore looked pretty ugly.
You will probably see little changes / additions to this part when rendered too.
I will composite the "Justin POV" that you see at the very end in a fun way so you can really see everything going on, and there's some fun to be had in the following animations.

2) Blender 2.8 cloth physics are kick-ass - you can see the shirt being held on purely by physics on the third last shot, and obviously the shirt lift is physics. If it continues to work this well you will probably see more of that.

Ever since Camilla I realized I've advanced enough in modeling that I should remodel Laurene & Ashley, and here's my current progress with Laurene.
I'm pretty satisfied with her face - the hardest part of remodeling her is that her original model is basically... quite anatomically inaccurate? It was basically accidentally stylized, so I had a hard time letting go of her look as it was.

To kick off the refurbished 5 dollar tier, here are four animations - two of them already rendered in Cycles (the most visually appealing engine) and the last two rendered in Eevee (The fast render engine I will be using for most WIPs).
I believe the Eevee renders could look better - learning to get the most out of it is tricky, and the rules from Cycles don't apply at all.
