Modeling in the Ocean

Modeling in the ocean has been an incredible challenge. Unlike in freshwater, I can't not float. I've been working hard to pose and model in water that keeps pushing me out of it. But I still want to work on making my body at a lower bouancy so it'll be easier. I'm already struggling with how sharp salty water is on the throat and nose. The ocean is beautiful but a pain lol. Hopefully I'll find a harmony in it, otherwise I'll accept I'm a freshwater mermaid

Home. I'm so tired but some how managed to unpack tonight. Whew. And start laundry. I planned to work on my laptop and see underwear together with the patterns I just bought, but as I waited for my laptop to start, my boyfriend's cat snuggled up for a nap on my lap. This cat usually hates me so I can't ruin this. He is so sweet, when he wants to be. Maybe it is next for me to just rest tonight. But I don't want to. I'm just to anxious to begin the next thing.

Waiting on my second to last shoot

It has been a pretty up-and-down to tour. With mostly ups, lots of good luck. I had my first no-call no-show photographer. Usually they just cancel but I've never had anyone not say anything at all. Hey think I had three cancellations for tour. But it ended up working out with new shoots. Some even still pay the cancellation fee. That rarely happens which is why I take deposits. That time of day

Just that time of day where it is too sunny for me to safely be outside and too hot for me to stay awake. Food and alcohol later, I'm trying to take a nap in the oasis shaded area of a resort hotel. Got to Business

Sat down and did the worst part of modeling: reaching out to people to see if they're interested in hiring you.  I feel like a telemarketer, but I finally learned last year that that's what some people actually expect you to do. It's scary to get rejected or at least put yourself in that risk! Most people are nice. Those occasional offensive replies can really throw me out of wack, but I've started to strengthen up and roll with the punches.  It isn't just an artist thing.  Rej...

Oh man I feel so pretty

I never see photos of myself like this, so I wasn't sure I could do this style. I'm glad someone showed me otherwise. I really love modeling for other creatives. I feel trusted and capable. I love working with hard working artists because it makes me feel like they believe in what I'm doing. All around I can't believe I found modeling and that people encouraged me to do this. I think the last time someone encouraged me in this way it was the take AP Calculus in high school 😂

Ireland

Oh Ireland was beautiful. It was a harder vacation than I think either of us expected but that's also how we love it? We want to do all the things and see all the places. I think my stamina can just go, go, go. Not very relaxing though. We saw four or six cities in Ireland in three weeks. Hardly enough time. I wonder could anyone actually see most of the world if they started early in their life?

I thought we were taking photos with the ferris wheel but this guy showed up. At least Michael Cosky took the photos rather than warning me to save my life. Hahah. Justwhat I make 😨. kidding but I finally shot in downtown Atlanta this year and really like it. If only I had all the time in the world to explore it. Sunday mornings the streets can be so empty and bare, perfect for moody urban bodyscapes. One day.

A day in the life

I regret to say the last day or two I took off from thinking about modeling. I've done some things here and there like answering email, setting up this patreon and going by the bank. I needed some rest after last week's insanity. Workshops, video editing projects, a wedding, volunteering, hosting a model, shooting, etc etc. All those things ended up really wiping me out more than I thought it could. Yes. A place to post stuff

Been holding on to this photo for a moment. I didn't want to have to censor it. For some reason I love doing back bends in photos despite my back hating it. If you're close enough you can hear me making the sounds of someone trying to keep their balance, pose, and not be in pain lol. I'm trying to work out those back muscles more so this becomes a breeze.
