Decided to open up a store and put any left over items from Patreon on Etsy. Makes it more organized to post items in one location compared do doing separate twitter posts for everything. Debating doing 2 versions of the rubber dog. One with the regular back/neck and an open back one. Wanted to offer one with back straps to allow easier sizing plus comfier for people with longer hair. Working on the strap design and how to connect them to the head. Excited to print a test version out of PLA to make sure I like the sizing before making a mold 😎

Been wanting to make a rubber dog for ages so I decided to circle back to this idea and start on another sculpt. I did my first sculpt over a year ago for this idea but was never fully happy with the result. Started it again on nomad sculpt this time and was really pleased with the results. It is still a work in progress but it is getting there. Going to work on doing fur detailing with Zbrush instead.

Working on a few new sculpts completely in Nomad Sculpt on the Ipad. This way I get a good feel of the program and I can work on tutorial videos showing the basics of the app itself. I figured out a way to make a mold from the sculpts in nomad as well which I am very excited to print soon. If you are on the fence about learning 3D but have an ipad with an apple pencil I highly recommend Nomad Sculpt. Been testing a few materials over the past few months since I got into dye sub. I have gotten really good results with some materials. I wanted to share which have worked out best for me as of late.

Finished texturing these 2 last night which means they are ready for the next step, rigging. Once rigged both of these will be available as part of the VR tier. If you are not part of the VR tier they will be available to purchase via Gumroad soon. Excited to see these moving.
Working on doing final work on the raccoon as that one will be my next full VRC avatar. Since I am doing some avatars for Vseeface and others for VRC so there is a mix of both.

I had been using this mesh for a while on eyes, it worked out well but last night I saw the seller sent me a new mesh which clearly did not work for eyes.
The mesh here is the same one I have been using for a little while and had very few issues with it. The seller on etsy changed it to a different type that has giant holes and a weird weave which can be seen in this photo next to the old mesh ...

Small head base update:
Worked on the base a bit more and finally happy where it is going. The screenshot above with the draw over shows the direction I am taking this. I will be doing swayed back ears on this one. Going to work on making this one very slim fitting so it looks best for partials. The eyes will be casted in resin to create a very specific look. I should be printing this one very soon, need to do final clean up so I can get it ready to print.
I love the idea of a head that’s got semi realistic elements, smaller in size and overall more proportionate to wear with clothing. Very early stages of what could potentially be something I will test soon.

Been working on an off this hyena boy up top to test some of the new printed 3D bases. With that being said this one has worked out well but the new bases already have a few changes from this one. Circling back to work on these guys to have them ready for next month. Thought I was going to be able to get them done and ready this month but life got very busy with the holidays. Will be releasing both deer and caribou version of these as soon as they are rigged//textured. Currently getting the re topology done so I can move to the next step. They don't have textures as of yet, just blocked out some areas so you can see how they will look.

Working on a smaller version of leg padding that isn’t fully digitigrade. But wanted something that alters the leg shape slightly.
Took a photo of the side of my leg with a duct tape foot we had made for a digitigrade leg. Wanted to recycle the foot so went ahead and took a photo and drew over my own leg.
