I really hope everyone is okay with the slower pace that this story is taking. One of the critiques I've gotten on The Stepford Game: Round 2 over on Deviantart is that the characters weren't as well established, and I found myself agreeing with that. So I want to take my time with this one, giving everyone more clearly defined personalities and viewpoints, so that their eventual transformations are more effective.

This is an alternate ending to the 2004 Stepford Wives remake. They wanted to change the micro chips to a more permanent solution, as well as to keep a similar ending to the original film!
All in all, I really enjoyed writing this! I think that this is the sort of ending I'd have written for the remake had I gotten the chance. I'm very proud of it, and I hope you all enjoy!
