Top of the world

Hey Laowinners!

Having a great time in Taiwan. Although we lost the drone, we managed to pick up the pieces and get back into the adventure. We shot up to the top of Taipei 101 today (which I've done a few times before but always cloudy) and it was a nice clear view from the top.
I am taking quite the liking to Taipei again. A big city, but not super hectic and crowded like Hong Kong.

Jetlag Sucks

When I first started going abroad, I'd have a rough day after landing, but get over it fast. This is not the case as a 30+ year old. I'm literally trying to keep my eyes open while posting this. I am a walking, sweating zombie trying to form sentences, and speak to people, but my eyes keep shutting and rolling back.

Drove 700 miles to meet a DNA match

I've been on the road guys! I matched a girl on 23 and me who had a weirdly strange high DNA match with me, so I ended up contacting her, who contacted the rest of the family, and it all turned out that we are related! It ended up becoming 100+ member reunion for people who've never met each other that are blood related to us. The border crossing across the bridge into Vietnam was fairly painless, although the guards had never seen a passport other than Chinese/Vietnamese. The Vietnamese guards on the other side made fun of our noses, and tried to use French with us, which only Prozzie picked up on.
