Halloween 2024 - Sylvia Manor

In the old Sylvia Manor, Sixx encounters a paranormal entity that mistakes her for it's owner. Despite the heartfelt reunion, the moment sours quickly as the mysterious tome turns against Sixx and insists on keeping her in the abandoned estate. I was originally going to make this one with a limited color pallet but I decided on full color when I could find a pallet I liked. Still, pretty happy with this result, even if this did take way too long to make.

Honestly I've been feeling pretty low about that recently. It sucks, but I'll only get faster if I keep trying.

Little Mid-Month Check-In

Hi!

It's almost 5 a.m. on the 15th and I wanted to write some stuff before going to sleep! I've been working out a design for a new character but it's been taking ages. I remember when I used to bang out new characters once a week back in high school/early college, but I think it was easier because I didn't expect as much from myself and had fewer tools at my disposal.

Bunbot Unit: Seht (and his unit)

I've made another one. He's called Seht. His ear is a little messed up and he's just a little taller than Care.

It's nice having a... uhm... 'species'? - That I can just bust out character designs for. I have plans for others, too, maybe, like a robot bunny centaur! Buuut, maybe that'll wait till later, I always feel weird about over-drawing one kind of art.

Unit 03: Care

TBH this one is my favorite design of the three that I have so far, I think she's very cute and the long hair looks nice. Put in a little extra work to make her head-orb look pretty.

Mid-Month Update

I feel the need to apologize for the lack of new stuff through the first half of this month. I have a piece that I'm not willing to upload because it was gift art for a friend and I feel scummy about uploading something like that here behind a paywall. They've already received it, of course, but I still feel it's not right to put something like that up.

New cable on the way

My tablet cable has gotten really frayed recently. It still works but I'm not sure for how much longer. I did put in an order for a new one yesterday, and it'll be in tomorrow, so I'll be willing to start drawing again by then!

Funny crossover between the TTYD remake (I was watching a friend play it) and my recent anime obsession, Dungeon Meshi (I like it enough to probably read the manga when there's no more episodes). The timing of these two pieces of media is so funny to me.

"Bad End" Play - Bonus Content

This is a little bit of stuff that didn't end up making the final cut.

It took until I was practically done rendering the WIP (something I didn't actually want to do for the finished piece) to realize that it wasn't working for me. Alls' position and pose felt too awkward, and the perspective was off overall, I think. Still, I also think it looks pretty good, so it'd be a shame to let it stay unused.

[WIP] Sticky Situation

This one is taking a bit (gear is hard to draw!) so I'm giving you guys a WIP.

I've got a bit to do, and I'm toying with ideas to develop this piece into something a little bigger but I don't have anything solid yet. Something about making this a little more wholesome that it outwardly appears and exploring a little more of Sixx's relationship with the bun-bots.

It just depends on if I'm still up for drawing after I finish this up!
