Hey, guys! For those of you who didn't know. I was out at a convention for 4 days (I came back yesterday). Not only did I get to meet some awesome people, I also got to meet some amazing musicians (some of them being the reason I even started a youtube channel). Watching them perform and then hanging with them afterwards started to bring back my creative spark, which you can imagine excited me more than anything.

How To: Make an Anime Song (Season 4)

What a hell of a song to make. Just as my musician's block starts going into remission, this song immediately sparks into my brain. I'm incredibly happy with how it came out. Sixteen in Mono's mixing/mastering job on it is phenomenal. I wouldn't have been able to get it mixed/mastered if it weren't for you guys, so thank you for making this song a possibility! I hope you all enjoyed it!

This Week's Plans (+ Future Plans)

This week will be a song challenge! I've been meaning to return to this series and I think it's a great way to figure out and try new techniques. This one is a bit of a silly one, but the resulting song was very worth it in the end. The challenge was to "make a middle eastern metal song in BAGDAD tuning". It gave me the chance to try out a new scale and play around in...a very interesting tuning (to say the least). I hope you all enjoy it when it drops!

This Week's Song [Rough Version]

I just thought I'd give you guys a little preview of the new anime intro theme! It's being sent to Sixteen in Mono for mixing and mastering, so expect a sweet new version in a few days! This version is heavily un-mixed/mastered and some of the harmony guitar volumes are everywhere, but hopefully you'll still get a feel for it! I say this way too often, but this is a new favorite. I wasn't expecting it to come out this way when I first outlined it.

How To: Make a Laboratory Level Theme

A new favorite of mine. I always loved making atmospheric/sci-fi tracks. It's always a pleasure when I get the chance to experiment with these styles. I hope you all enjoyed it!

So I have 2 videos that I will be working on for the next two weeks. Whichever one is finished first will determine the order of when each goes live. They're both pretty exciting though! The two videos are:

Plans for this week

I’ve been in a sci-if mood for a little while now. I’ve made some sci-if songs in the past and this week’s might just be a new favorite. Stay tuned for “How-To: Make a Laboratory/Factory Level Theme”. It has electronic parts/melodies mixed with some electric guitar, so everyone gets their fill. Hope you look forward to the future download!

Small update + tab delay

Still working hard on getting ahead of schedule. Because of that, all my focus has been on recording, but I figure I'd give you guys a little update. 

First of all, the tabs will still be coming. I just need the time to finalize them when I have enough songs done.

This week's video will be a cover most likely. Preferably something from Steins;Gate 0 (or Splatoon 2). Free download will come when it's done.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate - Main Theme (Rock Cover)

Looks like the post for this one didn't go up, so I'm trying again. This was one of the first covers I've done in awhile, but (obviously) I couldn't help it. I honestly think this theme beats out 4's theme by far. Can it stand up to Brawl's theme though? Only time will tell! I am more than happy with the positive feedback this video has been getting, and I hope you all enjoyed it as well!

Been a bit quiet on here this week. I'm attempting (one more time) to put myself ahead of schedule, so I've been recording songs all week. Not sure how many I'll use in the end, but it's good to know they're there. Plans for this week and next

We're finally getting back to some How-To's, and they definitely have more of a refreshing feel to them! I started changing up the way I structure and write my originals to get something a little...new (but still familiar). Maybe it'll be too subtle to notice, or maybe it'll be a nice change to the How-To series in the future.

Future Plans

This week's video will be moved to tomorrow (technically today). It's a cover of the new theme from Super Smash Bros Ultimate! I was hit with a load of inspiration upon seeing the trailer, and this is definitely one of my top 3 favorite metal/rock covers now. And just like the other covers, I learned a few more techniques here for my own music. In this case, it was the use of chord progressions and multiple key changes. I hope you guys enjoy it when it goes live!
