Blackstaff Tower - Waterdeep - Assets (Mapmaker+)

Blackstaff Tower - Waterdeep (All Tiers)

Blackstaff Tower. One of the most recognizable landmarks in the Castle Ward. The 3-storey windowless and doorless stone structure dominates the central courtyard between 4 smaller towers. Home to the Blackstaff of Waterdeep.

Waterdeep City Map - North Ward - Part 1 (All Tiers)

Back above ground at last! I figured since I finished a massive and ambitious mapping project with DotMM, why not tackle another one!? So here it is, the first of many (staggered) releases for creating a detailed map of Waterdeep. These maps will be released alongside the DiA maps in the future (probably about 1 Waterdeep map/month - so it'll be a while before we get the full city together!)

May 2024 Map Poll (#1)

It's been a while since I've done a map poll with the push to finish off DotMM. This poll focuses us back above ground in Waterdeep looking at the Chapter 2 faction missions from Waterdeep Dragon Heist.

There are 2 locations marked with an * where combat is most likely to occur. Many other missions include combat but I am hopeful that my Waterdeep City map will be able to account for basic combat in these instances!

Dungeon of the Mad Mage - Map Keys

I've redone all the map keys for DotMM to make them more consistent and easier to find and use. I didn't realize that they were so helpful in using the maps and working with the Dungeon or I would have put them together more coherently from the start.

.png and .webp files are attached below.

These will also be included as journal entries in the upcoming DotMM Foundry VTT module update.

Dungeon of the Mad Mage - Combined Images

These files have been scattered throughout the releases and this brings them all into one place for easy access and download. These are BIG image files - over 2.5 GB of images attached below, average of 100-150MB per image.

These combined images are intended if you want to try setting up full dungeon levels in one image/scene. This is NOT recommended due to file size and performance issues noted by people who have tried it, but the files are here if you want them.

Closing Off Dungeon of the Mad Mage

Level 1 of the Undermountain released in October of 2021. Two and a half years later it is amazing to be wrapping up Level 23 of this behemoth mapping project and looking ahead to the next adventure. It took far longer than I expected (and with a rocky middle section while my now-happy-and-healthy-2-year-old was in the NICU for 4 months) but it is incredible to be wrapping this up.

This adventure offered a lot of variety (more than I expected, TBH) given it all takes place in a dungeon....

Level 23-3 - DOTMM - Assets (Mapmaker+)

A statue of nude Halaster, wearing a cowboy hat, riding a donkey. What more could you want?

Lots of very unique and custom assets to close out the Mad Mage's Tower including:

• portraits of Halaster's apprentices

• scrying images of Waterdeep

• statues, busts, and paintings of Halaster himself

• a rune and a pentagram

• workout equipment
