It’s FINALLY DONE.
After three months of conflicting schedule, rain, illnesses—we finally got it done.
This went well into the early morning, with Anthony and I not getting home until 4am. It was physically exhausting, as I had to pull a 6’3 man across the yard in some shots. I’m not complaining; I would go out on a limb and say that I’m pretty strong for a female, but I heavily underestimated the physical demand needed.

This was a pretty personal session for me.
I found out today that Skepticism came out with an album this year entitled Companion. Needless to say, I was highly elated.

Damn it. This palette is REALLY pissing me off.
Okay, so I retried everything out with a beauty blender. The beauty blender DID surprisingly hold the color and pack it into the skin. Fingers are out of the question. As I found out, this dries out extremely fast and once it hits your skin—it’s dry.

Such a ripe harvest. I wound using an older harvest for yesterday, and it pleasantly ages into a sweeter aroma.
Blood, funny enough, has different smells depending on the cycle. I touched on this previously in another post, but I find it fascinating how a newer harvest exhibits more of a pungent aroma, versus am aged one.
I should also note I’ve been on a Skinny Pupoy kick. So, be prepared for an onslaught of industrial. ⚙️

Some of these didn’t make the cut—which is totally fine! These are some unedited shots I took, and I must say it was quite lovely.
One thing that I try to avoid is doing the same thing over and over. Using Saran Wrap is a very tricky concept because everyone is using it.
