For many characters level 3 is a big deal. Second feat, and many class features, including prepared spells, improve on odd levels. For cohorts and NPC classes… Well they got a feat.

So, we can summon Outsiders but neither Emrys nor Curtis are reckless sociopath. How do we use that?

Threva holds a special place in the security team for the House of Amber Silk: a gentle reminder that there are rules. If you haven’t pissed anyone off yet, you get a polite warning from a pretty-but-buff half orc girl instead of a club wielded by a hulking lizard-man.

Just a short little aside. I‘m thinking I probably can’t do more than one proper Emrys chapter per week, but the occasional short dip into someone else’s PoV could be a fun way to develop the world and story when I feel like writing a bit extra.

Emrys is hitting level 3! In addition to the feat, he is also getting charm person as a bonus spell known, and one new first level spell that we will be choosing here! Emrys is about to hit level 3, likely his level cap until the end of this arc. He will be getting a few fixed abilities from his bloodline, but will also be getting an additional spell known and a Feat. Here are his choices for feats this level; what’s he gettin?

It’s barely even 6 and Emrys got Sandara back from the dead. She’s not in a good way, literally too tired and weak to walk under her own power until she gets some rest. So… what’s Emrys doing with the rest of his day? He can probably fit 2-3 things into his day planner.

Goblins?

The canon goblins of Golarion in pathfinder 1e are a bunch of little irredeemable psychopaths who are not welcome among polite society. They can be fun/cool little guys though, and my own version of goblins in my campaigns tend to be a little odd. 

The canon aspects I’m keeping either way are that goblins love music, love fire, are innately chaotic, and have a strong cultural aversion to the written word.

The Sea Shanty clan lies on the edge of acceptability in the Shackles, and make their home in Goatshead. On the one hand they are a bunch of little pyromaniac psychos. On the other hand they are clever little craftsmen.

Not the *most* exciting thing, but Drow Nobility gave him a cantrip he already had, detect magic, so it’s time for him to get a replacement.

Acid splash: the acid version of Ray of Frost. Does 1d3 acid damage. Outside of combat could probably be used to clean stone or metal things?

Light: a much longer lasting light spell for his non-nocturnal allies; makes something that he touches start glowing for 10 minutes per level.

It certainly doesn’t feel that way, but Emrys’s team beat Riaris’s challenge on the first try. That means he gets a drow related feat. I don’t think Emrys will be as happy about getting this and Shadow Boxer as he otherwise might be.
