So we want to tell a little story about about a TV show that was almost hosted by yours truly. Yours trulies? Wait... does that work with 2 people? Some patrons have already heard the details because we talked about it in our monthly hangouts as it was developing, BUT we wanted to fill everyone in now that the dust has settled.
First, a little background. TV shows seem to happen in a few stages. First off there is the "sizzle reel". Basically a company calls "talent" up (that's us) to ch...

Haha, so this project... oh this project. There were definitely times we thought to ourselves "maybe we just won't make a video out of this." In this aftershow we talk about:
-How proud we are of ourselves...
-How disappointed we are in ourselves...
-Dart design of course!
-Plus a bonus flywheel scene that didn't make it into the video!!
One thought that we didn't talk about in the Aftershow but I wanted to share here is we tried our hand at capturing some predictions b...

Special aftershow with Bill from Punished Props! This was such a fun video you guys. This seems to be a trend after we try something new for the first time, but now we want to make all sorts of metal things! It's so fun and satisfying. In this aftershow
-introduction to Safety Bob (his sticker says "Likes To Make Stuff")
-some sneak peek mentions of other videos we filmed together

Wish I could have shared this earlier but I wanted to add some improvements to the design after assembling it and then I had this OCD urge to add every bit of hardware to the CAD model but it's finally done and you can get it here!! (link below and archive attached)

Hey guys! We're working on a new pair of shirt designs to go along with a project we have coming up where we're gonna encourage people to vote for "team pocket hole" or "team joinery." What do you guys think of the designs? Think people would be into them? Thanks! -K

- Making our own nerf darts
For Punished Props Acadamy:
- Repainting our water blaster
- Futuristic acrylic riot shield
- Duct tape dummy
For Joel's channel...

Hey guys!!! It's not finished yet but could not wait to share the progress we've made on our water blaster :D
We'll be releasing our video tomorrow and it's so fun to see the contrast between our version and the progress we've made so far. We're in Washington with Bill and Britt from Punished Props and we've been working with them to turn our plumbing parts and 3D prints into a salvaged space blaster!
The video will be on their channel but while we're here we'll be filming some videos of...

Hey guys... we have really exciting news! We're almost at our goal to hire an editor so... we are kinda jumping the gun and getting some help on a consulting basis for our CNC table V2 video :D
This will already help us out a ton because we need to start filming and editing our super soaker video and without help we would not be able to finish both before we head to Washington.
So, thanks again for supporting us and helping us grow and make more videos!!

Hey guys, still working on the design but we were too excited with the progress NOT to share this with y'all early. It has:
- Tire inflator to quickly add pressure
- A spring and piston system to keep pressure constant as you fire
- Improved trigger and grip
- Adjustable pressure relieve valve to automatically release pressure if it somehow gets too high
- Ball valve for easier opening and sealing of reservoir
- A design that we're much happier with aesthetically
We have t...

OMG GUYS!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!! We'd love to hear your thoughts before we launch it!

Today we're sharing something a little different: the very first "build video" that I made back in early 2016 when I was thinking of starting a product design consultation company.
So funny to look back and think about everything we could change to make it better but also see some of the origins for our current videos. I think the thing that cracks us both up is the music I chose though :P
Why is this also a sneak peak? Well we filmed a mini "spare" video to keep in our back pocket and I...

Great news everyone :D we found an AC company to partner with (Mr Cool) so that hopefully soon we won't be melting in our aftershows WOOOOO!
Editing these aftershows weeks later is often like a little time machine. It's a little crazy to see how tired we were lol, so glad we were able to get a little ahead on videos, feeling much better now!

Guys, things are SO much better in our guest bedroom with everything on the digital fabrication cart :D
Video is approved, uploaded, and ready to post tomorrow and we can't wait to share it with you! We decided to leave the project at this point even though we want to tinker with it more so we don't make the video too long and end up diluting the things we want to do.

Haha we've been teasing this a lot on socials but wanted to bring you guys in on the secret: we're trying to build a digital fabrication cart that will hold all of our robot army! Or the ones we're allowing to live inside at least :P
Build is going well so far and we're looking to release this video as our next one this Saturday!
It will be SO nice to consolidate all this and to have it be mobile too. Right now it is taking up the majority of our guest room.

I wish I could extra capitalize capital letters for the FTW!!! I am honestly BLOWN away by this guys!!
THIS is where SLA 3D printing really shines:

I can't believe the crazy detail we were able to get inside of this nozzle and the 1/8" NPT threads actually worked. The whole thing worked!! Excited to share more but could not wait to share this part:

Thanks as always for your support!! In this aftershow we talk more about concrete, silicone, molds, 3D printing, and of course go off on a few random asides :)
We also talk a little more about our lost concrete coaster video (we're still going to finish it!!!... one day)
We also have this newish idea about making how to videos. Basically once we've done a few project videos we'll do a how to with lessons learned from all our projects, which we're pretty excited to tackle!
