Was only supposed to be B&W, but I decided to put some color on it anyway.

June Patron request for Samadhir, continuing the Wagnerian opera theme. In tonight's performance, Moonmist appears alongside a female Delos named Honeyblush (another name courtesy of the sherwin-williams paint chip collection) in the title roles.

It's the return of the as yet unnamed, red fetish-suited Foozle last seen doing...pretty much the same thing she's doing here, back in 2014.

Midnight Blue

This was an experiment that I left running on my other machine just so see how it would come out. It ended up taking an insanely long time to render, not just because my other machine is technically just a video jukebox, and not really built to do heavy 3d work, but because of the nature of the image itself.

I decided to see just how far I could push Poser's global illumination, so I created a lighting setup that uses no direct light sources. All the light in this image is reflected light calc...

Another patron request image, this time for Stardust, who returns at the full color level, once again. 

He wanted to be drawn wearing an inflatable rubber costume I've drawn him wearing several times before, only this time he wanted it uninflated. So here it is, looking all tight and shiny.

Water Feature

The next patron request image, for Samadhir. 

A followup of sorts to last month's request, with another image based on another opera. In this case, the tale of Lohengrin, by Wagner.

In this scene, the heroine Elsa (played here by Twinkle The Foozle) has been bound helpless, and the hero of the title (played by Snowberry) comes to the rescue riding in a majestic swan boat, with shining armor, regal bearing,  sword held high, and... that's not a sword. That's a puprle pony dildo....

Garden Party

The final patron image request for April... and only a day late. I'm slowly but surely getting caught up. 

For Samadhir, who requested this image of Silver & Cinnamon, "based on Wagner's 1845 opera Tannhäuser." There are apparently two more images planned in this series, based on two more operas, so watch for those as they occur.

I've never tried to draw winghands like this before. Not sure if I fully captured it.

Hot Buns

The next one of... well... last month's patron request images.

March kind of kicked my ass, so I'm slightly behind. But I'm still here, doing what I do, and I'm slowly getting back up to speed. 

So.. the image. This is a companion piece to January's Foxy Lady image of Germaine, showing her significant other, the also foxy Enwood. Same background, marble furniture,  and corner deco to emphasize they are a matched set.

Drawn for Samadhir, and yes, it's another gift, so don'...

OtterPop

The next patron request image.. for Rnixon, who wanted an electric blue ottergirl wearing a canary yellow shirt, and nothing else.

The popsicle was my idea. I figured if there was going to be blue and yellow, there might as well be some red, too. And that color scheme says popsicle to me.

Space Suit

First of the patron request images for this month, for new member ArkanumZilong, who wanted his femboi wolf in something skimpy. I ended up making it something skimpy and futuristic.

Linework kept clean with no hatching or tint, to make it easy to color, since that was the plan.

STARRING

Where there's 80's TV, there's title sequence. More film/video FX testing. I had toyed with the idea of doing a "title sequence" at the start of the comic, and wanted to see how it might look.

Title font is Bathysphere, a computer font version of Othello, which was the same font used in the credits for The Greatest American Hero, and the pilot episode of The A-Team.

LaserBlast

What would 80's sci-fi be without a futuristic corridor to run through? More video FX work on this one, but also some in-camera FX as well. 

The starburst explosions are all in-camera. Poser doesn't have a particle system though, so these were created in photoshop, and pasted onto transparent planes in the scene, with point lights as their centers to give the illusion that they are throwing off light.  This gives the same general effect of the type of firework explosions that were so...

RocketPower

I didn't get much new modeling work done on Starship Awesome last month, owing to numerous real world interruptions. However, I did manage to snag a free afternoon to mess around with some special FX concepting.

This was an attempt to see how close I could get to a classic Glen Larson "ship in space" shot. 2-point lighting setup, star filter on the engines, some film grain and blur, and a touch of deinterlace and chromatic abberation for that dubbed from videotape look.
