The trick with those pictures is to both leave a lot of white space but to manage to divide those spaces cleverly so they aren't too large :3

Something a bit different ^^
I tried to sketch a page of my characters but with a more western cartoony style ( more detailed noses and lips for example )
The results are interesting I think XP

In the end I decided to go for a complex black and white lineart with basic flat colors. it's a style I didn't use for a while. It's a long and minutious process but the result can be really satisfying if done right :)
