Hi! Here is my last artwork : "the Ladybug". I designed this artwork to look good as an horizontal banner. All the faces of characters are aligned horizontally, so it's easy to crop the artwork for this usage. It was a challenge to draw this one with this complex constrain of composition. Hi patrons! I spent last days investing time to prepare the switch to 2016 with first a big work over the datas created in 2015. It means not a fun work: cleaning and maintenance. My website/blog had more than 300 articles, 400MB of images and 4000 comments and a lot of datas were too old or outdated. It was necessary to create an 'archive category' and cleaning articles in easier categories.
Now everything is done and clean. I also made a new theme to contain all the new categories....

Hi Patrons! Here is an update for everyone about the future episode 13 with a screenshot of Krita while painting a panel. This future episode is complex and November was a difficult month. Here is the weekly bonus number 27 and this time I decided to start a tutorial in two parts about a set of really special computer graphics techniques I visited for the previous episode 12. The part one ( big image above, or in PDF on attachment ) is about the lineart made with 3D object using Blender. 3D particles are a lot of fun, especially when you can duplicate randomly a set of objects with them. Pepper&Carrot episode 12: "Autumn Clearout" is finally online :-) This episode was a challenge on many technical levels, especially for the visual effects. It was also another challenge to paint the color palette I had in mind. Technical details : the drawings were made with a B mechanical pencil and H pencil on A4 paper 210x297mm ( bristol 'Record cards' , Uni Plain Liso Exacompta , 205g ), scanned at 300ppiRGB with Xsane and saved as PNG, then modified with Krita ( the pencil presets of my brushkitV7 matches the scanned lines of my real pencil ).
