1.5 pages to goooo until i can update! definitely doable until sunday, so lvl3 patrons can expect 6 new pages by then! lvl2 and public updates will also happen of course 💕

sometimes it's better to not make things too complicated aka me rambling a lot

first of all SPOILER - kai finally gets to "speak" soon! (probably on sunday, in the update for lvl 3 patrons)! he'll continue to mostly communicate through mimic and gestures but with jasper he feels comfortable enough to actually use words, even if it's just through text, and sometimes he can't convey what he wants to say solely through emojis or facial expressions, no matter how easily jasper usually understands him.

anyway, for that purpose i had to come up with a special speech box for ka...

so, remember my charm sketches? i also mentioned this AU in that post and after spending hours working on the other charms i kiiiiind of decided to scrap them and go for the alice in wonderland theme for the charms instead.

2017 was A Year.

a lot of bad things happened all around the world but i think, on a personal level, it was a pretty decent year for me.

while i had had plans to become self-employed for a while already, i was still pushed into it very suddenly and without a lot of time to think it through One Final Time and while that was scary as hell, i think in the end it was the best thing that could have happened, who knows if i'd ever done it without that final push.

calendar illustrations

i didn't actually end up drawing 12 completely new pictures, only 8 😂 for the other 4 months i found some older drawings i did this and last year that i decided to put in the calendar (although i have a hard time parting with originals that weren't drawn for a specific person or purpose in the first place ; _ ;)

well, the august one is actually something i started in 2016 but never got around to finishing it. now i did! so that's neat :3
