Cutting Window Holes and Discovering Electrical Problems

Howdy!

Here's day two. This whole daily video thing is surprisingly hard to get used to. I'm finding that I just have to let go. As I'm editing, I badly want to go out and re-film the talky bits to make my dialogue more concise, but the whole point of this is to get much more casual videos and a deeper look at my days. This is definitely turning out to be an interesting experiment for me! And yes, I am enjoying it quite a lot.

Also, I changed the thumbnail design for this video. T...

Doing Bus Work and Day 1 of Aging Daily

Hey there! We're all in lockdown, so I thought this was the perfect time to try out the whole daily video thing for fun. I'm lukewarm on the result of day 1's video mostly because of pacing. I think I'll try to shore up my speaky bits a little more tomorrow. This is all a fun experiment so let me know if you have any constructive criticism!

If you're curious, I ended up buying another window shortly after filming this video.

What Car Should You Drive to Survive the Coronapocalypse?

I've got a ridiculous one for you this time! It'll be back to your regularly scheduled programming soon enough. I just had a fun little idea that I decided to roll with. I also had fun making what is probably my most obnoxious thumbnail ever. Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry for the sponsorship spot. I thought this sort of silly video was a perfect place to do an off genre ad spot.

I Made a Work Bench and Some Shelves

Like I promised in the last video, this is what I've been working on. I had absolutely no idea it was going to take me three weeks, and I really have no idea where the time went. Oh well. Here's the result of that work. Next up is shop cleaning and a shop tour. Then it's time to kick back into making automotive content again! It feels like it's been months since I've actually made a video about cars. That might be because it has been months. Again, where'd the time go? See you in a w...

How I Made The Engagement Ring and Box I Used to Propose

Here's another second channel video for you. I meant to have this out by Valentine's day, but that clearly didn't happen. I had fun with this little project. So much fun I thought I would do it a second time for the video! I'm glad I did because the ring turned out muuuch better the second time around. Experimenting in the shop can be a rewarding experience.

The Pit is Filled In! (And other stuff, too)

It finally happened! I effectively doubled the size of my shop. I still have more work to do, but this is a huge step. The hugest, even.

Thank you all for being so patient. I didn't realized until a couple days ago that it's been a month since my last video. I got so wrapped up in all this work that I completely lost track of the days going by. After the shop is all finished, it'll be time to start making actual automotive content again! And work on the bus, of course. I'm excited for t...

Shop Upgrades!

I did some upgrades to my shop, but there's a lot more to come soon! I'm more excited about the upcoming upgrades than anything I did in this video. Why? Because next week I'm finally getting the pit filled in!

Making Some Shelves For All The Toys

Yep, more second channel content! This time with intended results!

Don't worry. I'll have an Aging Wheels update soonly. I'm just working on several wood shoppy projects while I'm in the mood for such things. Keeping my videos (and daily activities) varied helps keep me feeling inspired.

Second channel video time! There will probably be slightly more Under Dunn videos than Aging Wheels videos for the month of January as I catch up on home projects. See you soon!

The RV/Car Hauler Bus Project: Part 3 - Capping Off The Year

I moved the end cap forward to enclose the rear end of the bus! Unfortunately, that's about all I got done for reasons you'll see in the video. At least I gathered a bunch of supplies for when I can start working on the bus again. That's something.

Have a good holiday season! I'll be back with more content after a little break

I'm working on the bus again!

It just might be a while. I thought I'd give you a quicky little update to let you know what's going on in bus land. I'm going to smell like steel dust and welding fumes for a little while.

New Channel! "Under Dunn"

Hey there! I now have a second channel to act as home to all of my non-automotive project content. Give it a watch! There are already two videos up there for you to watch. In a day or two I'll be releasing a 100k subscriber celebration video where I formally announce this second channel, but I thought I'd go ahead and give my patrons early access. Enjoy!

Wheego LiFe Comprehensive Review

I finally did a comprehensive review on my Wheego. I spent a couple weeks working on this, so I hope you like it. This is quite easily the largest scripted video I've ever made.

Fixing the Trabant's Lights and Other Things

This video's a bit of a hodge-podge as I started it before I went on my mental health vacation and finished it this week. As a result, most of the video is described using voiceover after the fact because I wasn't feeling in the most presenty mood whilst doing the work a month ago. Regardless, the lights in the Trabant now (mostly) work.
