Olá my dear patrons, here's some WIPs
Been struggling with executive dysfunction this past month, but have some ideas for stuff!
The Bets drawing (first one) is done so I'll be posting that to socials soon
Keisha DTIYS was sketched a while back for IG but I've passed 10K on there since then lmao
Before I start finishing Chapter 3 pages, I wanted to make sure I had the layout of the Roda location fully sorted and the side characters rough designs figured out (as well as the Golden Onti group cord system)!
At first the system was gonna use the colours of the Capoeira group I'm under (Brazilian Flag colours)... but in relation to ONTI, the colours don't really resonate with me. I had a think about the themes I wanna present in Onti now and in future and figured Nature colours woul...

Gosh finally! Here's the rough pages for chapter 3. I think I may have figured out a reasonable work schedule for me going forward
Hope you enjoy this so far. Next stage is completion of the chapter - during that stage, I'll be completing pages 3 parts and uploading chapter 2 to webtoon and tapas.
This ones going to take some testing, trial and error, I want the action to be clear and interesting

Hey! Been busy with part time work, but still making progress on this
Here's a rough layout/draft of Onti Chapter 3 with some concepts to go along with it.
New supporting characters introduced are Bailarina and José, if you saw one of my previous concept updates initially they were younger and where about 2 cords lowers in Golden Onti, but I've expanded a bit on worldbuilding since then and wanted to make them older with even more experience and lots of students in their Golden Onti...
High res art that I prepped for the webcomic upload, and some scrapped ideas for cover pages - I was able to convince myself (my friends helped a LOT lmao) that I didn't need to work TOO hard on cover art for the comic, I can just do character illustrations as usual and slap the logo on top lmao

Ideas I had for the cover art for this first volume. I wanna do somewhere around 7-8 volumes in total
This was the first idea I had but it doesn't really speak to the overall theme of the comic, which is like, friendship, community. Felt way too serious when I came back to it.
So then I drew them closer together, and I liked the idea just not the execution 😂

Onti Chapter 2 is finally done guys!!!
If you like this so far lemme know what you think, I was quite self conscious about the pacing for this chapter, this one shows the characters friendship a bit more.

Removed the update to get the chapter done within 2 weeks since I'm not well, when I'm feeling better more progress'll be made :')

Completed rough concepts for Chapter 2 of Onti, will try to keep descriptions brief
Concepted the palace... this was difficult but fun once I figured out the feel I wanted
Onti Palaces are historical buildings where people can go to train, meditate, or simply visit among other things. I wanted the layout of Ocho's to be similar to Shaolin Temple, but be clearly native to a tropical setting (hence the greens, browns and splashes of colour). Some of these capoeira drawings are going to be public for social medias sake, I wanted to practice a simpler colouring style with my current skills!

Just a quick update - I decided to do some colour tests for the first chapter before finishing up, this should make things a lot easier

Hey all, bit of a shorter update this time. Here's another comic progress update on Chapter 1. Pages 10 - 20 out of 34. Just 14 more pages to clean up for the first chapter ~
Added some sound effects and stuff, and well, just read for yourself, this part of the story is pretty funny imo!
I'll get back to work - definitely will be switching my process up a little for chapter 2 to make things easier, but whew I can't wait to colour this.
