it's nearly done. Just a few things here and there. The Alpha-Build should be ready within the next few days. Only a few additional images are left and some scripting in the background. 4K Render-Reward Poll

I've got a few ideas for the render reward and would like to give you the choice which one of them I should create. The 3 Ideas I had would be the following:

Star Wars

A image in the style of the star wars movie posters. The "baddies" as Sith's with red light sabers and Stelle and Selene as Jedi's. MC would be either a bounty hunter or he get's a violet light saber like Samuel L. Jackson had, because perhaps MC turns out as a 'motherfucker' too ;)

I'll keep it short this time as I've caught a cold (no covid). Progress was okay this week despite being ill. Anyway, good news! Just 3 more smaller scenes to render and finishing the big scene of the update together with a few more animations. So the completion of the update is getting closer. [Episode Deneb] Progress Update IX

Greetings,

I'll keep it short again. Got the booster shot last week and got pretty much knocked out. I'm still feeling not well, but it should pass the coming days. Anyway, I finished another track specially composed for the club scene and I'm kinda happy with how the track turned out. The track can be listened to in the higher Patreon tier discord channel. Render-wise I try to finish this scene today and will start working on another big scene next week.

Past week I kept trying to resolve the problem with rendering animations but it didn't work out as I hoped for, instead I finished rendering 1 animation frame by frame... Not a good approach.

I worked on a few smaller scenes and could even reuse some renders from the past episode too be able to script some scenes without rendering many new images.

[Episode Deneb] Progress Update IV

Greetings,

I've finished the environment and some extra assets for this scene. I think most assets turned out great and the location has it's charm. I maybe need to tweak some of the colors, but at the moment I think it works.

Render-wise this week was a bit slower. Real-life kept me pretty busy and the creation of the environment took some time too.

Editing is going well and scripting has also progressed a decent bit.

I'll keep it a bit shorter this time. I've completed the writing of all dialogues and scenes for the next update. So the dialogues and written scenes are now up for review and will be edited by osanaiko. This usually will take some time as we take a few iterations over everything till everything is in place. However, since I've sketched all scenes I can start rendering the scenes that are necessary anyway and don't rely to much on changes in the dialogue.

[Episode Canopus] Progress Update XIII

like every Sunday a quick progress update. This weekend the episode 'Canopus' got released. Currently I'm collecting issues with the update and will release a hotfix soon. Currently it's nothing really game-breaking for the PC version, but the mac version seems not to be working.

[Episode Canopus] Translation-File

Greetings,

in case someone want's to create a translation on it's own, here is the compact file of the default language file. It's a json file, so it should be easy to adjust. If you place your name in the node "translator" your name will be automatically added to the credits and the language will be available under settings.

[Episode Canopus] Release

episode 'Canopus' is finally done and I'm pretty happy with it. This episode is very story driven. There is a lot of character development going on and more attention is paid to the backstories and emotions of the current main characters. Elios (MC) and Selene get to know each other better and better and are working on plans to remedy their situation.

The scripting and most of the rendering for the main story of this episode is done. The 2 lewd animations I rendered this weekend have to be rendered again, because they are too noise and have flickering.

There won't be much to-do in the free-roam after this episode has finished. I will add a scene where some of the non-lewd animations can be re-watched and a few secrets.

other than rendering more images and scripting I did some feature enhancements to the engine and included another environment.

I could already start working on the scenes in the "new" location. I had this environment for quite a while and did some minor adjustments to make it fit the game. Working on this scene will keep me fairly busy over the next time as it will feature quite a few shots.

Greetings,

I've finished the gym scene and a few other smaller scenes. One particular gave me a few headaches and cost me a lot of time, more on that below. Did some more scripting as well and things come along quite good I think.

Coming week I'll focus on some more fill in scenes but another bigger scene is coming as well. Not sure if I can tackle it next week already, but I hope so. It's a scene I'm looking forward to create as it will feature a bit more vfx shots.

A little shorter update this week. I focused on rendering and scripting too see how the current images fit together. At the moment everything seems fine. With a few images I'm not really happy but I'm not redoing them right now. If I have time in the test phase, I may change them a bit. Currently I'm working on the lewd scene with the additional character. For the moment she goes by the name Sanchari Mehta. I tend to use names with fitting meaning. At some point I will release a character sheet where all the names of the characters are explained. In this case Sanchari is a hindi name meaning 'A traveller in motion' which I think fits well and Mehta is a Indian surname meaning 'Great', 'Highly praised' or 'Teacher or Accountant' which fits her also quite good.
