So here's the real penultimate episode 😅 and I feel like there's SO MUCH I need to see happen in the finale - I need to see that shithead Todd get what's coming to him along with his gang of assholes, I need to see Lydia suffer for her idiocy, I need Jesse to be ok and escape all this, and yeah, I need to see Walt go down in the end, but since I need him for most of those other things, I will wait...

So we started about where I expected but ended up very much NOT where I'd expected. And where we go from here is anyone's guess!

PS - Ignore my pride at the end for thinking I had something going. Upon a second look, Walt's plan was very obvious and I have no grounds to celebrate finally getting there. ESPECIALLY since I didn't realize until like an hour later that it was also to protect the family from prosecution. Derp.

Sooo hyped for this, and it did not disappoint! Not a lot of surprises in this installment, but I expect that to come in the last part. Like a lot of middle installments, we leave everyone in a worse place than when we started, and anticipate the next part!

This was one I wanted to check off my personal to-do list, as I've always wanted to see it and just never have. I have a real soft spot for the Parker/Stone brand of "super smart but sounds dumb as hell" humor. Loved the gross out puppet stuff, loved the musical numbers, loved the celebrity skewering, all of it! Gonna take a little bit to get the edit up, but enjoy this in the meantime 💜

I love this show for presenting the idea of pros and cons when it comes to quirks, and how there are so many motivations for those who want to be heroes. And I always love a big cast of characters, so I'm enjoying it a lot

Thank you to Solain for this month's pick, what a nice and cozy but still very funny movie! A really nice story about accepting others, "eccentricities" and all, how our differences make us who we are, and what really matters in life. I definitely would not turn down a visit from Harvey, personally.

The only thing that disappoints me about this one is the fact that I didn't connect with the tone until the very end, and even then I was kind of in denial about what was happening, so the full weight of it didn't sink in until later. I was very emotional while editing this, hopefully I don't come off too flippant 👀

For some reason I thought this was the second to last episode, turns out it is not, we actually have four more to go 😅 ANYWAYS how bout this episode? I find myself having to second guess and sometimes even third guess myself about what Walt is doing because he's a demonstrably a liar and even we aren't shown the truth all the time.

Got tired of being the only person who hasn't seen this yet, finally getting to it. This is a reaction to the first three episodes, I had no clue what to expect, and I love that. Finally we get Himejima the Stone Hashira's backstory and DAMN is it messed up! Something is going on with Zenitsu and I'm concerned, and then that extended final scene promising something intense to come next time, enjoy!

My Hero Academia eps 14-16

What's an anime without a festival arc? Midoriya is a great character because he has no gifts to rely on, so he has to use his brain, his instincts, and yes, a little luck to get by. But I think it will only make him a better hero in the end.

Walt's solution to Hank was incredible and I didn't see it coming AT ALL. And poor Jesse almost being free and even kind of looking forward to it, then bam, he's ruined by Walt once again. The question is now, how will this play out?

So much uncertainty, everyone's motivations are very complicated. Walt is adamant about not killing Hank even if it means he goes to prison. Skyler doesn't want him to give up, but how much of that is about saving her own ass? And although Hank really does care about Skyler and the kids, he also really wants to nail Walt, would he let Skyler face prison to do it?
